I encountered this company called Butter Plumbing on several occasions and both times they tried to rip me off. Thankfully my husband knows a bit about plumbing and he was able to see that employees of this company are dishonest liars. Each time they will try to upsell absolutely unneeded equipment and will try to pretend that job was done even if it wasn't. They even make you sign a paper stating the work was completed before they even start the job. Biggest liar of a company I've come across. Please stay away from Butter Plumbing unless you wish to get upsold on useless products and, oh, yeah... I almost forgot... Ripped off!

And yet you called them back WOW

NO I was not there but they tell you to contact them. And any time I every have a problem with a company I don’t call them back another time. From what you did say that you had them and felt you got “ripped off” and then you call them back again. I did not see your first review of them “ripping you off”. I bring you the Licensed because this means they are trained professionals so let say you go to the doctors and they tell you that a tumor is growing but you can’t see it  does this mean the doctor is ripping you off NO he is a trained professional. And if you know so much about plumbing why are you calling a plumber ?. and no I said before I no longer work there but they are a very reputable plumber if I no long worked in plumbing I would tell people to call them.

For next time you think your getting ripped off don’t call them back and post a review the first time.

Are You Serious?

First, how do you know anything about my experience with Butter Plumbing, were you there? As an "ex-employee", I'm sure you know exactly what goes on at a company you no longer work for. Second, why are you bringing a flood, shoddy work and unlicensed people into the equation? I don't recall mentioning those issues in my primary report. Last, you seem to be implying the owner is the only reputable plumber in the county and that everyone else is either no good or holds no license. Well, I've got to admit that you come off as a conceited and egotistical person presently employed by this company. Pathetic!

Big Misunderstanding

AUTHOR: Robertnv - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, March 05, 2014

I worked for Butter plumbing this must have been a fake report or a misunderstanding.  The owner would not let this happen. I still work as a plumber and I will tell you first hand you get what you pay for Butter is not the cheapest but they stand behind everything they sell and the products are some for the best items on the market yes you can pay some guy without a license to do it on the cheap and when your home floods you will find out then how much you saved. This company was not trying to rip you off and I sure if you felt this way you would have called there office when the plumber was at your home.

This is my firsthand knowledge of this company as a x employee.

Thank you

Robert

Au Contraire!

Your plumbers don't have any reason to upsell? Then why do they enter someone's home and immediately show them the most expensive equipment in your "proprietary catalog"? Your plumber personally insulted my products. He called them "builder's grade", and then proceeded to recommend the most expensive items you offer for replacement.

Your company has been dealt with twice, once for an emergency (proximity of convenience) and the other for a replacement. On the first repair, your employee asked me to sign a carbon paper acknowledging that the job was completed before he even started working! I see other people on the Internet are reporting similar troubles with your business -- I will never use Butter Plumbing again!

Not true

First of all, all of our plumbers are paid hourly. They have no reason to upsell. Secondly, if you felt as though you were ripped off the first time, why didn't you contact our office? And then, why did you call us again?

I personally handle every situation that arises in our office. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction, and in most cases, a phone call stops any "misunderstanding" with a customer.

Please call our office so that I can hear about this case first hand and rectify the situation. If we have a "bad egg" out in the field, we need to know the details so that it can be squashed before it gets to this point. We've been in business in Vegas for 15 years and pride myself on our excellent customer service. Please allow me the opportunity to find out what the problem is.
