Check Points, LLC Unresponsive and Dishonest Venice California

Checkpoints.com is a 'rewards' site that rewards you points in exchange for your time completing offers from affiliates on their site. For example, a 15 minute survery (real time 45 minutes, another lie) will get you about 80 to 120 points. Other examples including watching YouTube videos for 1 to 5 points, signing up for various subscription sites and making purchases on those sites for 200 to 700 points, and so on. My problem comes from the 'download software' and 'play games online' offers. These offers usually pay the most, 100 to 300 points, and it's the highest point number you can earn without spending any money or giving someone your credit card.

I have downloaded over 30 different software applications, thus completing the offer Check Points outlines, in the past 2 months and have not once receieved any points. So why do I keep downloading them? I was trying to different routes out to see if I was completing the offer wrong. At first I was installing the softare from the offer and deleting it right way, but Check Points says you have to wait 24 hours for your points to arrive, I decided to try a new batch of offers and leave the programs installed for over 24 hours. Still didn't work.

Everytime I write them with my complaint about their false 'download' offers, their customer support team copies and pastes the generic answer from their FAQ answer about 'not receiving software download offer points' and sends it over. Note: There is a specific FAQ section for 'I have not received my points from my download program offers' which clearly proves I'm not the only one who has spent a ton of their own time trying to get these points and thinking it was worth it to even try.

Again, I have written them dozens of times and and not once can I get a genuine correspondence, even when I have requested it. I get that Check Points isn't a site you pay for and it's a 'rewards site' who is offering you free points for your time, but that's just it, they are taking your time and making promises that aren't true. And then they don't offere a true support for their user base. They act like they are doing me a service by giving me all this free stuff (free stuff = 3,200 for a $10 gift card to starbucks, 3200 points = at least an hour a day commitment on their site for 6 weeks) and so I should just be grateful with the points I do get. Yeah, right. If you claim to be something, and you are NOT that, it's a lie and it's a false advertiesment regardless if someone spends money on your service or not. Time is just as valuable as money often, and "thousands" of people are spending "thousands" of hours on your site and probably running into the same issue I am having.

My bigggest annoyance still comes from their inability to provide professional support by way of PHONE. They do not list an address or a phone number on their site. The only address I could obtain came from their automated email responses and this is still only a PO Box in Venice, CA. So in conclusion, this site is a huge sham and a waste of time and you won't get what they promise you. Nothing in life is free in the end. And if it's too good to be true, it is! Such a lie

P.S. Even on their 'complete survey' offers or 'watch video' offers, even these points don't always come through; the site and support response just basically tells you, "Oh well, Can't help you! That's just the way it is." The bottom line: Expect, on average, to get 80% of the points for the 'survey' and 'watch video' offers you complete, and 0% of the points for the 'download' offers.
