I purchased this car In February 2012. We went to a Gearld jones Volkswagon in Augusta, Georgia. We had purchased are car that was lemon and had gotten scammed so our credit was bad. We wanted to get a dependable car and so we went to this car dealership. They told us that this company was the only one that would give us a loan because of our prior history. The dealer said they were a good company and would work with us to help us build our credit. Well, that proved to be untrue.

I lost my job in Septmeber, though I lost my job we were doing our best to pay our car note. We explained that I had lost my job to credit acceptance and they seem to want to help. Well I went outside to take my kids to to school and tried to crank the car and it would not come on. I called and they said that they had disabled the car. I had an interview that morning that I couldn't make because the disabled my car without prior knowledge. My mother in-law let me borrow her car a few days later to pick up my husband. When I came back home they had reposed my car with all my stuff in it. My child's car seat, my wedding ring, my husbands fishing rods and his pressure washer. If I would have known they were gonna come get it I would have taken the items out of the car.

I spoke to credit acceptance on November 17 and was told by Angie that if I pay 250.00 I could go pick up my car from repo. She said that was all we had to do. I had the phone on speaker so that everyone in the room could hear. She said that if we paid 250.00 we could get our car back. Well we made the payment on The following Monday morning only to be told that we could not get the car back until we pay an additional 389.00. The verbal agreement was not what she had entered into the computer and now we are out out 250.dollars. I don't want to deal with these people anymore. They lied to us repeatedly. Don't ever use credit acceptance for your credit provider because they will dup you over. We barely have food to eat and we are trying to do the best we can and they did us like this. Now I don't have a car to even try to find a job. And I gave them all the money I had left for the month and now it's gone and I can't get it back. I could understand if I wasn't trying but I am and they did us this way. I advise everyone to never use this company. Ever.

They didn't "do you" anyway!  YOU did it to yourself.  You brought into this deal a reputation of NOT paying your bills on time.  Here we are again, you STILL aren't paying your bills on time.  What did you expect them to do?  The contract does not give you a pass because you loose a job.  You repeatedly used the words "we" and "us".  Why couldn't you or the other part of "we" go out and get a part time job????
