Scott Hanson is  lifelong self employed contractor from the Dallas, Ft Worth area, but the economic collapse forced him into employment with what I found later was a 20 million dollar company that operated in bad faith and a dishonest agreement. In 2009 I was hired by Metro Wholesale lumber, a company in Garland Texas. I was hired as a General manager to create a general Contracting business within a business, they were lumber wholesalers, who wanted to take advantage of the down turn for contractors as a whole, and with their 20 million dollar deep pockets interject themselves into the market. As we put together a small firm, called DALLAS CEDAR, on Miller park in Garland , Texas, the General manager of Metro Lumber Wholesale, called the BBB rep, he knew, and told him to come out and advise on the newly created General Contracting company, when that rep came out, he said he could not give a rating to a new business, the business needed to have operated for 12 months, preferably 2 years. But things changed quickly when Lou Mills of Metro Lumber said he could pay whatever was needed for a A+ rating for the new business. The BBB Dallas then proceeded to take thousands in payment to connect the new business rating, by claiming it had operated under the older existing business Metro Wholesale Lumber. And presto, a Brand New Business, with no customers, no sub contractors, no projects was giver a A+ rating with the BBB Dallas, for nothing more than a pile of cash. Now after working for this company for several months, using this rating to sell for them, working my tail off the build an office, inner office personal, tactics, writing a valid contract, building an advertising plan, all that worked. Once it was all in place, and they owed me for 250,000 in sales, I was fired. And if firing me after I built the firms operation, giving it a plan to follow, and selling its first 300k in projects was not evil and unfair enough, they then, through LOU MILLS contested my underemployment payments. After a 1 year battle through the Texas employment commission, obvious mis statements and contradictions by Lou Mills, all on tape, where ignored by TEC, my unemployment was stopped and the money paid during the process was demanded back. I also filed a wage claim for the sales I had made but not been paid the commissions, this claim I won. But empty victory, the Texas Employment Commission found I HAD made the sales, Down payments were received on cash deals, 50% was collected on financed deals, but the TEC claimed the only money they had to pay me, was what I collected while employed. So instead of 10k, they approved $150.00. Dallas Cedar went ahead and constructed all those projects, collected all that money from the sales, but fired me before those occurrences, so the TEC says they dont have to pay the commissions. I mean the logic is, if a car salesman sells a car, he does not earn his commissions until the car note is paid off, how, absolutely ridiculous. The reason for telling this story is also to create a complaint for the BBB Dallas, is this. For money they empowered these wrong doers, they gave them legitimate power with consumers, on a lie and payment. And whet did consumers get, when I was fired, they eventually went out of business, they handled all the customers, but after all is said and done, there is no warranty, no one to call for redress is something fails, one of the projects I sold was a swimming pool, and that requires someone to uphold a lifetime warranty on the pool shell. What happens to them if there is a problem? Dallas Cedar is now a cedar sales company, not a construction company. And this was possible due to BBB Dallas taking a bribe and fudging the facts surrounding Dallas Cedar Company. Now, I am in business, and have refused to pay BBB Dallas their extortion fees, and they start my companies rating at a C. I have 8 complaints in 2 years, I get an F. The BBB sent info about complaints to changed fax lines, because its not our standard practice to notify BBB Dallas when we change a fax number, and they don't go to the trouble to find out a proper contact, so in a time sensitive process, they send info to old numbers, and if you miss them too bad for you. This is an unfair system, created by individuals with conflicts of interest , out these taking the higgest bid to give ratings that are hollow and a fraud. Consumers beware, the business with an A+ rating could have begum yesterday, and the business with a F may have an experienced well meaning owner who is doing their best to serve. I recommend referrals from homeowners who have done business as the best way to decide who should do your next project.

What a Shame, Misunderstanding into Misrepresentation of the FACTS

AUTHOR: Rsh - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, January 21, 2013

Well, after seeing the comments about delusion, I was compelled to respond.

#1) My company had visited Dallas Cedar to purchase a very large job package in late 2012.
I talked to Lou, and we buried the hatchet.

#2) I had a delivery of some 600 lf of fence delivered by Dallas Cedar after being purchased there.
Everything was great, except, the 150 bags of 80lb concrete could not be taken off because fork lift failed.
Lou ordered the lifelong employee, to remove them by hand, this by a man who is suffering from kidney Failure, as well as his truck blew massive amounts of oil and hydrolic fluid all over the driveway of a house never lived in.  This became a point of contintion, which led to a eventual parting of the ways between our customer, John Jensen, and our selves. Though we contend it was wrong, and a violation nof the Terms and Conditions of the Agreement. Liens have been filed.

#3) Lou claims I promised the world and did not deliver. That is false on both points. I was hired to establish a General Contracting Company. I DID.
As well as Achieving over 200k in sales in approx. 2 Months. On Record. The Design Plans, recorded by the City Permit authorities will reflect my Name on them.

#4) Lou Mills accused me of threatening the employees, this is absolutly false. I did get antimated, when dealing with a Hire by Lou to take over Job Supervision duties, as he hired a Female that had Terrorist Ties with Osama Bin Ladin...No...Really. My only problem with her was she was a pathological lier, and when standing in my presence, addressing Lou Mills, she would Outright Lie. Cover her definchisies, with lies concerning points where I had direct knowledge they were untrue. When I became angry, and pointed this problem out, I was reprimanded.
This employee, kimberly El Homsi, captured in Ft Worth with explosives, during the NBA All Atar Game at Dallas Cowboys Stadium. Great Hire Lou.

#5) Lou claims I extorted and threatened Dallas Cedar, this is false. I demanded payment for agreed commisions for sales, that Lou claimed were not Due, after he fired me. Lou actually lied to the hearing judge by saying he did not recieve 50% of monies from lender once contract was signed. This was a lie, and the hearing officer took his word for it, rather than a quick website look see, where the program was outlined on the first page.

#6) Lou claimed I fought for a year and lost all pititions. This is a lie. I won a Wage Claime, the money he owed me from commisions never paid, though his perjury concerning the funds of financed jobs, cost me several thousand dollars. But I did win the Wage Claim.

#7) Lou lied about the nature of the seperation of myself and the company. I was home and he called me after hours concerning a redesign of a pation cover I had sold and designed. I had a conventional roof, he redesigned it to be a Shed roof. I was not happy, and he was drunk. This combination, led me to tell Lou, his actions are going to begin and undermine the company and its chance at success. So I was going to go above him to the Owner, Michael Block, at which time slurring Lou fired me. But that is not the story he tetified to the TWC hearing judge, he claimed I screamed and was grossly rude to employees, and even brought in a lifelong female employee to perjure herself to seal the deal on the lie. So he was successful in causing my unemployment being revoked.

#8) So I think the evidence On Record compared to the false statement above by Lou, speaks for itself as to who is deluded.

#9) I will leave by notifying those who come to this site, I will place the entire hearings on youtube, to be heard, as Lou contridicts himself many times on points that seem to be critical to the story he weeves, but the Hearing Judge ignores these misrepresentations and finds for Dallas Cedar. Its a Shame Lou is such a great Lier.

#10) I had not experienced these Hearings ever before, so I made a case, that could have been enhanced if I had expected and prepared for a complete False Reality and statement of facts, but I never would have Imagined. Actually, I later found out Lou Mills is old hat at this type of extortionary practice, because I ran into a hispanic employee who worked for Lou installing these projects, he told me, Lou owed him over 3k, and he was forced to file a wage claim, and was involved with it at the time. Between that amount and my commisions, Lou is guilty of conversion in the range of 8k.
