David Westscott and Gladstone Brown(MEC Private holdings Inc.) of First Southern Private Banc & Trust Cos. 9494 Southwest Freeway Suite 800, Houston TX 77074 were referred to me by a loan broker for a loan on a commercial project. After sending them the required application and documentation, they sent me a funding approval letter with David Westscott’s signature on it. They required me to pay them $1300.00 to process the loan. I paid the $1300.00. After paying them this fee, they wasted a lot of my time making false promises about the loan closing date. I called them and sent them emails and they did not respond. Basically, after collecting the money David Westscott and Gladstone Brown have both vanished. If you type Gladstone Brown’s name on google you can find other similar complaints about him.
David Westscott and Gladstone Brown are con artists and First Southern Private Banc & Trust Cos. is a fraud Company. Stay away from these individuals and First Southern Private Banc & Trust Cos.

I had called David Westscott at First Southern Private Banc & Trust Company, to get the application fee back. Mr Westscott to date has not returned my phone call.
I also wrote him an email again, that they close the loan as promised. He replied that he has no problems, and I have not heard back from him ever since then. I have written emails to both David Westscott and Gladstone Brown managing partners at First Southern Private Banc & Trust Company, regarding this issue with no response from them to date. David Westscott and Gladstone Brown are Con artists of the highest order and First Southern Private Banc & Trust Company is a fraud company. Stay away from these individuals and this company. If you have any questions, you can contact me through rip-off report, and I will be more than happy to show you the unanswered emails and all the evidence that I have against these individuals and this company.

Dear sir
Your we're informed via email and in writing concerning you loan status and what would be required to complete your loan. It was your chose not to comply with the underwiters request. As of today you have a credit in the amount of the application fee, per you lending agreement this fee is non-refundable and your credit is good for another 6 months before it expires please contact your broker or my office direct. Our telephone numbers have not changed.
