while we are walking on downtown Charlotte Amalie we get approach by a guy that asked us if we want some free stuff $100 for shopping and $50 to eat and 7 days in a hotel. " all of this for free". We head to an office were we were very well received and treated by staff. Until we said we were not interested on spending $14,9995 for vacation club, that they were selling it to us 20 minutes later for $3,995 and you can have 100% money back in 36month if you have not received your money from the vacation. They offer us two cruise to the Mediterranean if we sign up. Then we say no, as we need to do some searching on company, very persistent Mike, and his manager. We're rude and aggressive. Very insulting. The manager also like to say things like they are accreditaded by law and show you a BBB laminated and We noticed they are advertising there business saying they have accreditation by BBB they don't have it. After doing some search I found they are scammers. With some other jewelers that they give the free $$$ for shopping. So far no problem with gift certificate for food.

Dear Sir,

I am the President of Divine Destinations and I would like to first take this opportunity to apologize to you for any rude or insulting treatment that you may have received from my staff. This is behavior that will not be tolerated at our office. If you could call me at 340-690-3760 and explain exactly what happened, I sure would appreciate it.

Also, we dont have a "Mike" that works in the sales department. In fact, we have never have had a Mike in Sales. If you could describe him to me, and his manager.....I can assure you that I will sit them down and reprimand them. And if you like, I will have them call you and personally apologise to you, OR apologize in a written letter.

Now let cover some the other things that you posted;

Our Price went from $14,995 to $3,995 in 20 minutes: This is true. We offer several program of varying size, becuase some people travel more than others. And some people can't justify $14,995, or don't vacation enough to justify that amount.....but most have spent $3,995 on the vacation they are on, so they can justify that amount. Most companies have their "top of the line" models/products, and less expensive products that are more affordable. We are no different.

As for the 20 minutes.....when my staff first approaches you on the street,  we tell you that it takes 60 minutes for our presentation. So if we get to the point quickly, we are just trying to not take up too much of your valuable vacation time.

You can have 100% money back in 36 months: I believe your recollection of the facts is slightly off. We do have a new policy (in writing) that we offer to members. It basically says that if you buy our program, use it regularly, and don't save the cost of the program in 36 months from the first time you use it, we'll refund your money. I think its a fair policy and it gives the people a little piece of mind.

That we are accredited by the BBB: Again, I believe your recollection of the facts is a bit off. We are AWAITING accredidation by the BBB.....it should happen this week as we have submitted all the paperwork, made changes to our website that the BBB required and have answered the 3 complaints that we had to the satisfaction of the BBB. However, at this time we have an "A-" rating with the BBB, and we expect accredidation this week.

After doing some search, I found out they were scammers: Not true. You came to our office, we promised you a dining voucher for 7 restaurants within walking distance from our office, $100 of free shopping at 9 different jewelry stores within walking distance and a voucher for a condo week at 3500 resorts worldwide. You received everything that we promised you.....so where's the scam? If you found out something that I'm not aware of......please tell me, or at least allow me to respond. But making a blanket statement that "you found out we are scammers' is neither true or fair. Our service works and can save you alot of money on your vacations. It's not for everyone.

Please allow me the opportunity to talk to you and try to make amends for any rude treatment that you may have recieved.

John Jureidini
President
