I had an account with Fanbox that I thought was free.
Unfortunately, when I went to my bank website to check my account there was a charge to my debit card for $6.16 which I never authorized.
This charge to my account made the account overdrawn so now I not only get to pay $6.16 that I never authorized, I also get to pay for overdraft fees.

Creating a FanBox account and using the site is completely free for every user.
In order for any user to be charged, they would have had to first add their own payment information into the site on their own accord, and then used the services provided on the site. When a user adds their payment information on the site, they agree to being billed for the services that they incur.
FanBox is an online social economy where you may earn by being an active member. FanBox is not a get-rich-scheme or scam. If you do not feel comfortable with the idea of spending money, then simply choose to not use the services provided to do so. Instead, take advantage of the social networking and the content.
