The advertising for First Amerigo states that they are "committed to helping individuals obtain unsecured loans."  This is not what happens in actual practice.

The company claims to be able to help anyone obtain a loan through their resources, but the only response they ever provided to me was a terse "Sorry, I cannot help you" from the single resource that they provided.

While I can understand their inablility to actually secure a loan for me, I cannot fathom why they chose to keep my $299.00 retainer.  All they did was tell me that they could not help me. 

Kathy O'Connor, who was my initial contact with the company, Shannon Scinta, who provided the contract and paperwork, and Devyn Fetherolf, who was my supposed loan counselor, sent very nice e-mails, but then completely ignored me when I requested a refund for services NOT provided.

This was easy money for them, because they did not have to do anything to earn it.

I asked if this was a scam and would I get my money. He said it was not a scam and that I would get my money. He told me his name was David Cooper and end of his ss# 9899 and said later than I have a freeze on my name. Later I get a call from John Williams 9162450420 and that I am being sued for non payment on my loan. He say I need to pay $45.31 today or I will get locked up. They did get $113 from me. I knew something was wrong. Always remember that just because they say it is not a scam does not mean it isn't a scam!!! Some people lie!!!  Internet

First amerigo James,Daniel Firstamerigo said they would give me a paper less loan for $2500.00 on 12/7/2012 they told me I had to send $532 for the FTC and I would receive all money back in my account on 15 minutes well its 12/ Internet
