To sum this us, I am just going to copy the letter I sent to the company here……Dear Frenchies...I am appalled at how you treated us this morning!!! I would have given you no stars if I could have on this one.

I came to your restaurant this morning and brought with me 3 people who had never been there which is something I USED TO DO quite often. I have brought sooo many customers to you but it was made loud and clear this morning that you do not care about customers.

We came in, I tried to walk tot he back to see if there were any seats and was stopped, asked how many we had and told to hang on a minute. We walked back out front and a couple that was sitting there getting ready to leave said, you can have our seats, we are just leaving...it's a great view. The guy who was going to seat us came out and I asked if it was okay to sit there and he said yes, let me clear it off.

Then, all of the sudden the owner (male) came out and began yelling at us about the table. Said, you can't sit here because the table is too close to the line then muttered about the county commissioner and took back off inside with the stuff that he cleared off the table in a big rage. The 2 gentlemen sitting at the other table were as shocked as we were. He came back out and I said, you are aware that we did not move that table there right? It was there when we got here. He said yep...I'm just sick of people telling me how to run my business (not sure where that came from because if I was going to tell him how to run his business, if I did it sure wouldn't be about table placement it would be about CUSTOMER SERVICE).

When he came back out to wipe the table down for us my sister asked him why the other people were sitting at it the way it was. He said that is because that guy was the county commissioner for Leelanau county and I wasn't going to argue with him (so clearly you have to have some sort of title to get treated well there). Then he looked at us and told us that we would need to go somewhere else to eat!!!

I wish I had a picture or video of the gasps that came out of myself, the 3 people who were with me as well as the 2 gentlemen that were waiting for their food (who by the way said they will NEVER eat at your place again because of how you treated us).

I immediately got on my bike and went to pull away when the waiter came out and said sorry about that. I said to him, sorry doesn't work, that was completely unacceptable behavior towards a customer. He then said what are you going to do about it...put it all over social media, I can't help what he says? I said yep and I'll do one better, I'll put it all over the whole internet.

I am also in the restaurant business in this town and I know how important each and every customer that walks through my door is. I don't have a business without them and I appreciate EVERY ONE of them!

Oh and by the way...we did have a title when we walked in there, it's called CUSTOMER! 

We do have a title by the way, our title is CUSTOMER...you know, the people you have to have to stay in business.

You can only stand behind your good food for so long...your food tastes like crap to someone who has been treated so poorly by you. I am absolutely amazed
