I was going here in 2005 and wanted to report the things I witnessed personally at the Heart of healing chiropractic in Walton, Ky. All of these things go across a timeline from 2001-2005. Dr Melissa Ann Edwards is one of the most deceitful, lying, manipulative b!tches to ever reside on Gods green earth.
Witness falsifying of records to obtain larger payments from insurance companies. A complaint was filed to no avail. She did it to every family member. Why? Thin
Personally witness an employee using methadone. I kid you not. Her name is Elaine Niece.
Stole money from her ex husband and his family to the tune of around $50,000.
She hired this same addict to follow her ex husband and stalk him and take pictures of him for some unknown reason to this day. She was sentenced to 6 months, which the guy she hit, Ed, asked the judge for a suspended sentence for the mother of this addict was afflicted with Alzheimers and required round the clock care.
She is a college flunky. She will tell you her life's dream was to be a chiro and she flunked out of UK med school. Chiros dont go to med school folks. Took her 10 years of college to be a chiro. You do the math.
Chiros preach non drug therapies. Dr Edwards is a lifelong presciption drug abuser and has admitted past cocaine problems.
Constantly wears clothes that reveals the breasts she doesnt have to try and help her business, and thats how she was raised, daddy was a minister mind you.
If it sounds like I have an axe to grind, well, I do. I was employed by her and her husband Ed to work at their home. I want everyone to know what kind of real person she is, instead of the phony, overly nice kiss your a*s to get you to pay con artist, which is a trait in her family. Another horrible thing she did was to call the police and tell them that her husband Ed struck her when he didn't. She did it to obtain a restraining order so she could quietly move in with her new man. Since the day she did that, she has NOT lived in the house since. I've seen the work Ed and Melissa did and made it a dream home and she straight up kicked his a*s out of it as soon as it was done for the new guy. If you're ok going to a Dr with morals like this, knock yourself out.

I'm glad to see that quack in Walton helped one person. For all the ones she's screwed in her lifetime, its about time. Say what you will about sour grapes and someone has a vendetta, as a friend of her families I've seen more than what was listed above. Maybe it was sour grapes............she fooled around on her husband, smokes pot and chews Valiums like tic tacs(at least she used to), and will do anything to get work done for her for free. She had her old secretary run over her ex husband with a car at Turfway Park. Check the court records if you disagree/don't believe.
This is one shady person. Comes from shady stock. I know for sure whoever did write that first review may have had an axe to grind, but as someone who dated her ex husband for a while, he's the nicest man you'd ever want to meet. He lost his job and started sleeping with a patient, to whom she's been engaged to for NINE years. She's a loser as a person, and just as bad as a doctor.

I love this place. I spent thousands of dollars and 2 years with doctors (regular, neurologists, cardiologists, etc) trying to figure out why I had major headaches, numbness and severe jerks. Most thought it was MS or Parkinsons. Finally the doctor's just said they couldn't figure it out and they could medicate me to "deal with it". I went to Melissa and she figured it out and fixed me. I am headache free and are more active with my kids than I have been in years. And happy. I cannot thank her enough! All of the bad reports I have read seem to be from the same person who looks to have a personal vendetta against Dr. Edwards rather than rating her practice. I have referred MANY people here and everyone loves her.
