Heartland Payment System has fraudulently charged my credit card account with consistent monthly fees. I originally closed my account because I was unaware of charges $106.02 monthly fees. I also received this bill for the months of February March and April that totaled $318.06 and $106.02 for the month off May even though I closed my account. I should not have been charged for these months because I stopped using Heartland. When I cancelled my account, I was even charged $295.00 which was not stated by the sales representative when I signed the contract. When I opened my account with one of the representatives, I specifically told them that I did not want to sign a contract. The representative assured me that there are no contracts involved and that I may close my account any time without a fee. Once he took my signature, he reiterated once again that there are no monthly or cancellation fees. Once I signed on the representatives ipad, I received no paper copy of the signature. I believe in this scenario, I have been fraudulently been charged and feel as if I was "robbed" by this company. The representative did not explain clearly about the companies policies, fees, and contract. I feel harassed by the various bills I have been receiving although I have not been using the services what so ever. I request for the refund off all my monthly fees that total $424.08 and $295.00 for the cancellation fee. Thank You.
