J&K Services Bad Service and Bad Materials Lexington, South Carolina

Contracted Jeff Bouknight with J&K service to install a room on the back of my home.  With the agreement, that if I found better and cheaper materials that what he was using, he would use it.

I paid half up front so he could get started.  After a week I noticed what siding and windows he was goig to use and he assured me that he was going to use the best and cheapest in town.  After looking around I found a better window and siding dealer that was a whole lot cheaper that what he was using.  But by the time I got back home he had already put in the windows and started with the siding.  He told me that once the stuff was on the house, it couldn't be taken back.  It was like he knew I had came up with something better and cheaper.

After the work was done, I brought this to his attention again, and told him I wasn't paying another cent.  He told me, that if I didn't pay, he would have everything torn down and destroyed by the time I could get the police here.  I didn't want my property destroyed so I paid.  I am now going to court trying to get some of my money back.

I ran into one of hims former employees, he they told me that he always brags,after the job is done, Of how much he overcharged the customer and that nothing they could do would stop him.

Please don't use this guy for anything.  Home improvement, applicance service, yard work, and removal services.  Be prepared to get screwed royally!
