John Hancock Insurance No college investment, as promised Claremont, New Hampshire

Our children are now of age to be given the funds that were promised on their life insurance policies from John Hancock insurance.  The agent made it very clear, that should the children survive to age 25, they would be able to cash in only their insured amount, and that my husband and I could retain our policy, despite this.  The policy was sold to Life Of Virginia, and is now with Genworth.  Not only was the above not true, but somehow my husband and I now have separate policies, instead of the family plan we were sold.  So, while we are glad our children have survived, we were completely misled.
