KNS Consulting Consulting company refusal to pay contracted employees after services performed Missouri City, Texas

Consulting company contracts unsuspecting independent technology consultants in the Houston area to perform duties and tasks for non profit medical clinics. When employment first begins, promises of being paid weekly are made. Generally the first paycheck is received without issue. The weeks following are nightmarish in that the company will pay once every two weeks and only issue a check for a week's payment thereby leaving the consultant with a sum of two to three weeks pay at any given time. If the consultant leaves or refuses to work under the conditions in which they are subjected, pay is withheld indefinitely.
