Massage Envy Omaha NE 72nd and Dodge St predatory and inconsistent practices around cancelling an appointment. omaha Nebraska

After being a customer of Massage Envy for more than 6 years,  I quit today.   at approx. 9AM I made an appointment for a 1.5 hour massage at 3PM the same day.  I called back in less than 30 minutes to move the appointment time out a couple of hours.  M.E said that they had time but it would fall under their cancellation policy and I would yhave to pay a cancellation fee of over $25.00 to cancel.  This after 6+ years of appointments, with no miss,  no cancellation etc.  ME on the other hand had cancelled my appointments at least twice with no apology once the therapist did not show and the second time,  the therapist they lined me up with did not want to do deep tissue work. They did not offer another appointment on either of these days.    

I have been to other locations and realize that not all can be judged by the poor customer service of this location however today was the final straw their cavalier attitude and smug responses put me over.   Most of the good therapist i visited at this location left either to go out on their own or to another studio.  Glad to be done with this place. 

Beware too of their contract,  it has a 30 day cancellation policy so regardless of when you tell them,  they will bill you out at least one more time "per contract"
