Mike Staple of MIHA used Sean Conlon's email which you can read below. Although signed by Conlon, it was Mike Staple who sent the actually email using Sean Conlon's email account.

I see that you have Eric Newell on your roster. On his collar you can clearly make out the name Chi-Town Shamrocks. That name is trademarked and that picture can not be used with expressed written consent of Midwest inline Hockey Association. I ask that you remove that picture from your site within 24 hours. A copy of this message has been forwarded to the MIHA lawyer Eric Hock. If this picture is not removed we will file a case of copy right infringement. We will file an injunction that prevents you from competing in any events until the case is seen heard by a judge. That means that your team is not to compete in any type of event and your website must come offline until the judge rules. I hope we don't have any further issues. Mike Staple allowed a referee in his 2011 championships to get into a fight in the T - 3 division, then let that referee officiate a T - 1 championship with the person he fought playing! is that fair?

Staple then allowed players in T - 1 to play down in T - 3 which is unfair!

DO not play in the unprofessional league! he claims to have pro teams which are only four - five players who play one event and then dont come back! He throws in free teams made up of guys from other teams!

Mike Staple does not run an fair or professional business! you should hear what his own head referee has said about how he bends the rules! don't play this event!
