 I was skeptical at first and I should have stayed that way. I test drove my 750Li and it drove very well. It was late in the evening and I couldn't find some place to inspect it for me and I was to leave on a very important business trip the next day. I returned the next morning completed the paperwork and they pulled the car out of the shop where they had it washed and waxed. I popped the hood and begin to inspect the car again as I did the day before. I only had a few hours before I had to be at the airport...I took the car without a mechanic inspecting it for me. I came back from my business trip 2 weeks later and drove to the store when I got out to shut the door it wouldn't lock. The 750Li's have the soft touch doors so you don't have to slam them just shut them lightly and the computer pulls them shut. Well I had to keep playing with the door in order for it work but it finally shut and locked. A couple of days later I was on hwy 75 when traffic just stopped so I hit my brakes pretty hard and I then got a code on the dash saying the ABS system malfunctioned, so I decided to head back home when all of a sudden my coolant light came on. I stopped by AutoZone to fill the coolant tank. I decided that the following week I would take car to a BMW dealer service center to have them go over the car as I should have done before I bought the car. A few days pass and the coolant light came on again, I check the radiator for leakage but no sign of leaks so I fill the coolant tank again. Three days later I pull the car out the garage and I see a puddle of oil on my garage floor. I very upset now so I decided to just pull the car back in the garage and get it to the BMW dealer as soon as possible. When I get out the car after pulling it back in the garage I get out to shut the door and It's doing as before, not locking or staying shut at all. I call South Atlanta BMW service dept. and they ask can I get it towed in...I call AAA to have the car picked up and dropped at the dealership. After they inspect the car I was told I had a crack in the coolant tank, the actuator that helps close the door shut is shot....the ABS sensor for my front axle needed to be replaced and the oil leak was coming from a well known $10 gasket problem behind the alternator that isn't covered by any BMW warranty. Total owed almost $5200 and they've replaced my ABS sensor twice and they still get a code. I told the service dept. I didn't want the vehicle back until It was safe to drive....it's been 2 weeks since I gave them my car and they're still trying to figure why they keep getting a code on the sensor...and they're having to ask BMW of AMERICA Techs to help problem solve. So almost 4 weeks after I bought this car I have $5200 worth of work to be completed. Oh yeah I got a call from the repair shop asking if I knew that one of my fog lights had been rigged with a sheet metal screw to just sit up in the housing area. Beware of this used car dealer,or at least spend the $50- 150.00 to have the car inspected.

Mr. Booker Who?

AUTHOR: GLC - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, April 30, 2014

To Whom It May Concern;

This is a rebuttal to a report filed on April 24th, 2014 by a "Mr. Booker".  We have searched our records and show no evidence that a "Mr. Booker" ever purchased a vehicle from our dealership.  Also, there was a similar report filed (blogged) on another automotive site using a different call name.

If "Mr. Booker" did in fact purchase a vehicle from this dealership, he must have used a different name or possibly an alias.

Georgia Luxury Cars is a reputable high-line luxury import dealer and we stand behind any issue in reference to the purchase of a vehicle from our store.  As "Mr. Booker" writes in his blog, he visited several other (BMW franchise) dealerships seeking resolution to his matter, but apparently never once did he contact us or bring his car back for us to see what we could have done to help him.

Obviously, this individual must have confused our dealership with one of the "other" high line import stores located on the same highway who do not have full service facilities with Master Technicians that specialize in BMW service.
