MS Glass Changes quotes, rude customer service Beaverton, Oregon

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER - RUDE, CONDESCENDING AND MEAN. Seriously, go to any other glass repair than MS Glass. Made my appointment over the phone and was quoted a good price. Scheduled an appointment and told them I was coming from a long distance to get my parents windshield fixed for them. No mention of payment method was discussed. When I arrived at the appointment, I saw a sign on the counter that said no checks accepted. I was then approached by a person named Cheryl (and I call her a person because she lacked the basic elements that make a decent human being).

This was the same person I had made the apt with. I explained my situation, went over what I was quoted and commented that no one stated when I made the appointment that no checks were allowed. It was then she changed the price of the repair to a higher amount and became combative, condescending and very rude. She even started to laugh at me when I stated I was not happy with the level of customer service in being forthcoming on the phone disclosing and her behavior in person. Her attitude was one of not wanting to help and if anything, absolutely indicated she did not want my business.

Her "manager" (again, for lack of a better term, for he was nothing but a complete d****e canoe in attitude and presence) was just as condescending and rude and absolutely would not work with me. I explained that I understood they would not accept my parent's check and that I would be happy to take my business elsewhere but asked him if he was OK with how his counter person treated a customer. He shook his head that he was just fine with how she was.

I asked him if he wanted my business, and he flatly stated "No". I left, drove down the street to their competitor, Safelite, who after hearing what I had just gone through at MS Glass, not only honored the original price MS Glass quoted me, they accepted my parent's check. Not only did I receive a lifetime guarantee on the replacement windshield and assurance a high quality job was performed on installation, but experienced the best, top notch, customer service in the industry.

So, my recommendations is to avoid MS Glass UNLESS you do not mind that they will change the price of the quote, you do not care to be so rudely treated by a woman whose attitude and presence falls somewhere on the lowest scale of between the gutter and the curb, or if you do not care that their product may match only the level of service the counter personnel presents. One can usually tell how good a product or service is by the quality of interaction between the company's employees and the customer...and based on what I experienced, there is nothing good, quality-wise or customer service-wise, about MS Glass.
