I signed up for a free trial through redboxinstant.com by verizon which it has nothing to do with verizon they just use their name with this Red Box streaming service. Red Box charged my credit card $9.54 during a free trial way before it ended without my knowledge they are crooks this streaming dept. Then they give you free credits to rent physical DVDS from their boxes and I used them for 4 movies all sucked. I had them for free the 1st day and 2 days after and returned them on 4th day before cut off time. I should not of been billed these other charges on July 11 2013 with the above mentioned for their streaming service 2 separate charges totaling $36.00 almost. I returned 3 movies to the location right down the street before a storm and tornado hit and blew their machine out and screwed the info up. Then I forgot 1 movie I complained to redbox rep online chat she said return a movie called the Cloth to an inside location before 9pm since all outside boxes were messed up bigtime from lightning and super cell thunderstorm. Well I returned the disc and I was billed $9.65 and at the CVS location I was billed $16.54 for 3 days for all these movies... The first day was totally free because of credits but they messed up... They said I returned 2 movies late some dark seed movie and another at WALMART which I didn't even return there I returned 1 movie called the Cloth... I was billed 3 charges totalling $36.00 about when you add them all up that is rediculus. I called my credit company after they hung up on me and Cap 1 called them on 3 way and they had no idea the supervisor was on the line recording their smart asses. They promised a $9.54 refund and admitted they screwed up with the free trial but not the discs ok all in 1 day on July 11th they screwed me over with that service then the actual rentals? I hate redbox and will never use their service again I always used their machines with no problems but a tornado never dropped down here since 1985 like this one... and all that lightning and severe downpours messed all their machines up that were outside... I have complained to BBB they are not BBB accredited business. I'm an ordained reverend and I'm an honest man of god and these bad things keep happening to me and my wife these companies ripping us off... I threw in the the towel with most of them but I'm not letting these criminals get away with this... If BBB cannot help then I will pursue legal action and they will pay my legal expenses and for all the troubles they caused in my house all the fights with family and mental stress trying to explain to these people who cannot even speak english... People beware of redboxinstant.com.. Stay far away... Yo'll be glad you did my friends... God bless you all and I hope you all resolv your rip off problems...
