Shoe Mint ShoeMint, JewelMint, StyleMint recurring billing scam internet

Don't get suckered in - it is hard to get out.  This company tricks you in to making a single purchase, but once they have your credit card information, they charge it monthly whether you buy anything or not.  Your $20 shoe purchase turns into months of $79.99 charges.

They claim this is the fee for being a member, which includes the privilege of buying their poor quality merchandise.  However, any legitimate business wouldn't pull this blatant bait and switch.  If they marketed themselves as a club you had to pay $79.99 a month to shop with they wouldn't sell a single membership.  Instead, they get you to make a purchase, and then you are automatically a member. 

This is seriously the most dishonest business model I have seen in decades.  I can't believe this is legal.
