If you are smart with your money and willing to work for for money then SMC will work for you. Not only do I sell SMC products but me and my family love and own many of their products. Look, if you want to get rich quick and expect money to fly in without any sweat and hard work then you need to wake up or play the lottery. I have been in business with SMC for the past 2 years and I make great money on my website www.bighouseofgifts.com and on Ebay.  The tricks of this trade are... 

1. sell on ebay first - sell your first 100 products free (auction style), no money out of pocket then when you are comforatable open an ebay store and list atleast 200 items that you think would sell great. A store cost less then an SMC Ecomerse website but is has an automatic traffic of millions.  Don't think you have to undercut other sellers who sell the same SMC product on ebay, I sell my items at the book price.

2. Build your own website only when you have a customer base.  It takes alot of work to bring customers to your website but I use 3Dcart because they are very easy and have so many great advertising and business building tools to keep your customers coming back on a daily or monthly basis and at no additional cost as it is included in your monthly fee. However I didn't start my website until I had a customer base of 270 people. Its an easy calculation... 1/3 of your business will return. I low balled and calculated $1 average sale per returning customer (90 returns) = $90 a month enough to cover monthly website expenses and have extra to put away and expand the business.

3. Buy the SMC catalogs. Everyone I show the catalogs to buys something. You can start off with one catalog and show it around to family, friends and co-workers, they will buy something. Infact they will always be asking for the new catalog which my family, friends and customers do all the time.

Look the point is... You have to work if you want SMC to work for you.

It really is not that hard. Will you be raking in the thousands at first? No. You will start earning nice pocket change. Once you work at getting more customers, you will make decent money but you will always have to continue keeping in touch with your customers and finding new customers... If this sounds like to much work for you then SMC is not for you. If you want to get rich quick, you'll have better luck playing the lottory.

Make sure if you do decide to join SMC, join up with the minimum... Just the membership. You don't need a website right away. They will send you catalogs, so sell from those first. Plus all there websites look like a 5 year old put them together and you will not have many sales on a website that does not look professional. SMC send you a start-up package. Read it all, watch the video if they still send it top you...which I think they do.... I just hate to see so many negative things about a company that has worked great for me.
