We are however experiencing a problem with one of the products that we purchased during a Social Media Summit in May 2010. We purchased Speedlings from Adam Ginsberg and we feel he misrepresented its value during his presentation.

During his presentation Adam Ginsberg demonstrated Speedlings capability, he set up a website during his demonstration and instantly began making money. His demonstration convinced us to purchase the product especially as he promised the following:

Generate an online income will we sleep

We have not generated income worthy of celebrating. In fact we have not even recouped our initial investment. We have both made a 100 each. Jennifer invested 2,500 and Henrietta Joyce invested 4,500 in purchasing the Speedlings package.

Invest minimal time to start earning an income immediately

This has not been true we are now nearing a year and Speedlings has failed to live up to the promise. We did not earn an income for months and have in almost a year made 100 each.

Use a set and forget strategy or customisation to enhance your revenue

We have found this not to be the case as there were constant updates requiring us to return to the websites and update or alter different elements.

Build an investment in the online marketplace with a portfolio of active domains with managed websites

We may have the websites but they are not an investment because they have not generated enough income to cover our initial costs of purchasing the package (Jennifer - 2,500 and Henrietta - 4,500). In fact we also have interest to pay on this amount as we both bought Speedlings with a credit card.

Guaranteed profit within a maximum ninety days.

This has not been the case at ninety days we had not made any money. When questioned about this at a webinar Adam became defensive and said it might take 120 days. Now we are over 300 days and have made only 100 from all the websites that we own.

30 day money back guarantee

Adam refused to refund our money when we requested a refund well within the 30 day period.

Fully automated Twitter integrated into Speedlings

The auto twitter follow had more glitches than is imaginable. This necessitated constantly re-setting the programmes. Eventually this free benefit was withdrawn and replaced with a pay as you go package.

24/7 telephone and support desk

The support desk was not 24/7. Our enquiries were often ignored or responded to rudely. Opened tickets were closed when the enquiry had not been satisfactorily dealt with.

Free fully automated and integrated article and contents

We were often unable to manually place an article on our websites. The free regular contents addition has now been withdrawn. We are now expected to purchase article or write them ourselves.

Educational weekly recorded webinars

The webinars are often a pitch for a new service.
Webinars that we were promised would be included on webinars have since been offered as four-day workshops that we have to pay for. For example Adam is now hosting a Flip and Profit four-day workshop in Australia. He promised us a webinar on this subject months ago.

Four day Speedlings workshop in London

Adam promised us a four-day free workshop in London to be hosted two months after we bought Speedling. This was postponed to June and then cancelled without prior warning after we had booked our hotel accommodation. Eventually the course was delivered in November seven months after we purchased Speedlings. Unsurprisingly the majority of delegates felt angry with Adam Ginsberg for reneging on his promises. In fact all but one of the 40 delegates had made little or no money in the seven months.

Renewal of Speedlings is due in April 2011; this will cost us a further 2,000. However we have made so little money, 100 each that we have not even recouped the cost of our initial investment. We are extremely disappointed with Adam Ginsberg because he has not been honest with us so we have lost all respect for him. He did not keep his word. We have spent money on domain names that have been listed under his company name. If we do not renew our subscription we loose our websites regardless of when we bought the domain names.

When challenged he becomes really aggressive. We feel Adam Ginsberg is a con artist and speedlings is a scam.
