A copy of the email I just had to send to them:
I have received numerous phone calls from your "business" and I am tired of it. The first call I got, I had to wait on hold until I got a live person to tell me why they were calling. First of all, you called me, I should not have to waitI only use my cell phone and that is a waste of my minutes. So, I hung up.
A few days later, I am out shopping with my husband only to receive another call. I answer it and this time stay on the line. The lady on the other end was very polite and helpful and had me stay on the line while she called Bank of America or whatever and confirmed the loans were paid in full. After that, she said she would take my name off of your list. That was back in June 2012. I received another call in July and proceeded to tell that girl that it was taken care of; she also said she would take my number off your list.
Two weeks later, at work, I receive a call at 9:05 AM, I ignore it since I am working, trying to make moneyat 10:05 AM I receive another callexcuse me, do not harass me multiple times a day, there is obviously a reason I cant answer the phone; however I take this call because I am furious. The gentleman also assured me my name was off the list and was not sure why I was still being called. He made a note of it. About a month later, maybe less, I receive yet another phone call. This time on a Sunday. What is the point of calling people on a Sunday if your offices are closed? Also, you are not supposed to be calling people on a Sunday, its rude and inconsiderate. Since I was driving to work, I could not answer the call. I got to work and proceeded to call back since I was not going to have my phone ringing off the hook all day. I left a very nice message and said I would report you to the BBB and take you to court if I got any more calls.
Within the week, I received yet another phone call. I answered and this time, a man named Jerry told me he would take my number off the list. A month goes byand here we are todayanother Sunday and I receive a call on my way to work. I called back and yelled this time because this is unacceptable. I dont have time to constantly deal with your idiotic automated phone calls. If my name is off the list, then why am I still receiving these calls?
I will not deal with the college, they arent the issue, its your system. If the college has an issue, then they need to personally call me and discuss it, and you need to tell them that. I will complain to BBB today also. In a reply email, I need a signed copy from a manager or director or whoever is in charge, that this issue has been resolved and I will not receive anymore harassing phone calls. I have done nothing wrong and this truly is harassment. I was never late on any payments and the loans have been paid off. I look forward to that email saying I will no longer receive calls from you.
