Urban Talent Agency; they pray on the innocent, promising career's in modeling to anyone who will listen, they scount out young girls on face book and other sites. Invite mostly college age girls to open calls, tell them that there are many jobs available to everyone, short, tall, skinny, fat, you name it. They talk girls into signing their contracts and charge them for bogus modeling classes. In doing research it looks as though Urban does get jobs for models, but only about 5% of the people they sign on to their agency, they sign hundreds of people charging an average of $2000 per person. You are asked to use their photographer who is a "professional" for anyone over 18 parents are not invited to the "photo shoot" the photographer is foul and rude using tons of profanity, your daughter is alone with this person as he tries to talk her into doing topless photos because those are the types of photos that will get you hired (I guess that is true if you want a porno gig), Urban tells you that part of the fees you pay to sign on with them goes to the photographer, but this is not true the photographer told my daughter that he doesn't get one dime of that money, he also told my daughter that urban does not care about their models, they only care about the money that comes in from signing so called models. The photographer will offer to make you two disc's one that you can show your parents with modest clothing on and another one to use for your portfolio with your topless/immodest clothing.

My two daughters signed with Urban, I have not seen them show any interest in either of my girls in the nine months since they signed on, except of course to collect their "fees", my daughters experience with the photographer was horrible, she was alone at the photographers house, he left her their alone to go to the grocery store she was to choose her clothing by herself, the make up was dirty and looked like it had been used on hundreds of girls, the house was creepy and so was the photographer, my daughter called Urban as she was instructed to do to say she was totally uncomfortable and Camilla told her she would come and be with her, but she was not to leave if she did she would have to pay for the photo shoot, Camilla did not care that my daughter was uncomfortable, she never showed up to the photographers even after telling her she was on her way. The photographer then told my daughter that her skin was totally f'd up and that even though she was tall and probably could be a model in New York she wouldn't ever be with such f'd up skin. He told her she would NEVER get a modeling job with her skin and that Urban would never tell her that because they don't care about her, they only care about their range rovers and sending their kids to private schools, that they just take money from models, they don't try to help them. He said he would not take my daughters photo with her f'd up skin. My daughter left feeling horrible about herself. The next day Camilla leaves my daughter a message that she owes the photographer for her photo shoot that she was under contract to do so, although the contracts say nothing about oweing the money if the photographer cancels the shoot. I call Camilla to tell her what happened at the photo shoot and to find out why she didn't show up, she didn't answer a single question and basically said that she would talk to the photographer and get his side of the story, she would call me back. She then calls my daughter back to tell her the photographer had a "completely different story" and she needed to pay the photographer. What kind of a modeling agency sends a 22 year old girl to the home of some photographer by themselves, one who encourages girls to photo half naked. My daughter called me while she was sitting at the photographers home alone, she felt so uncomfortable, she was relieved when someone from the agency was on their way, but they never showed up. And now what does Urban want....more money.... I have called the agency numerous times to talk to the owners but they do not call back, obviously not caring about my daughters who I would never allow to do a photo shoot with their creepy photographer. The photographer should not be left alone with young girls, and why is he doing everything, styling the girls, doing their make up?? Just hope that others out their will read this review, parents will read this review and NEVER sign with Urban, I promise they will take your money and do nothing else but put you or your child in a compromising position. Buyer beware!!
