Here's another thought..... If you can't speak English, how are they to know what your concerns are? They can probably take a look at the baby and make an educated guess. I would be concerned (as the care provider) that without a good history (e.g., allergies, previous illness, immunizations) I would be taking on a big risk in providing care.
Find a translator next time.
