I paid $2,150 for a refurbished Sub-Zero in April 2013. Its now July 2013 and the never shipped the unit. They do not answer the phone or emails anymore. Voicemail is usually full. I have filed a small claims suit against them. They are either out of business or theives. Do not fall for their small family business B.S.

As the owner of this company I would just like to say I am glad that the customer of this post has posted about his NOW satisfied experience with our company. I wanted to mention that the reason that the customer did not receive his unit was because he was out of the country. Without any customizations we do say that it takes about 4-6 weeks to recieve your order. We are a legitimate company, with a legitimate retail store. I urge anyone with concerns to please call or come into our shop!

I just wanted to mention to be cautious when reading reviews like these because typically it is just a disgrunted angry person who is exaggerating. Because I ordered a refrigerator from this company. Not only did i receive exactly what i was looking for, but it was delievered in about 4 weeks, works perfectly and looks great! As for the weird comments suggesting that they do not answer the phones, how about you call during business hours? I challenge anyone to call during business hours and the company WILL answer the phone! Maybe an employee was out to lunch when this person called? I believe it is completely false that someone said they did not receive their refrigerator! They have an actual retail shop that you can go into in person if you like!

I urge the readers to be cautious when reading reviews like these. There are several companies with the same names. I want to also point out that you will often read more BAD reviews that good because often shady disgruntled people want to exaggerate their story because they were not happy with one aspect of their order. I happen to be a very pleased and satisfied customer. This IS a legitimate company. I ordered my fridge online, and received my order in about 4 weeks. The staff was all very helpful and friendly. I received my product just as described, in good working order. The price for a refurbished refrigerator is so much cheaper than buying a new sub-zero brand new. The company has a sub-zero techinician come look at all the fridges before they are sent out. They put new compressors in my unit, along with free new custom stainless steel panels. And if you call they do answer so I believe the reviews above are completely false. If you call them during business hours they answer, try it!

I finally got the fridge in September! So, it turns out that a number of things compounded the issue for West2EastCoast Built-in Refridgerators, including emails that were sent to me bouncing back, some unforseen personal issues on their end and a general back-log of orders.
To make a long story short, Brandee and Larry were able to deliver a nice looking Subzero 550, but it needed a new evaporator coil and new light and fan switches, so that cost me $1,000 to fix. However, we are now happy with our 550. Shipping was pretty fast (4 days), although the delivery company will not bring the unit into your house.
If you are in a hurry or like easy communication, W2E may not be the best choice for you, but if you want a very nice fridge for less and you are wiling to fix it if it has issues, they can be counted on to deliver.
