American Getaways LLC Repeated, harassing phone calls. They hang up as soon as you answer. Hallandale, Florida

Hello, while I don't agree at all with the harassing phone calls and repeated hang ups by named company.  I also don't agree that we are to assume they are a scam.  IMO if I filled out a registration, then I am assuming the responsibility of some form of solicitation..most of the time.  Usually the forms will state if my name will be used for other purposes.  They generally are required by law to do so.  The reason I know is I work in an industry where some of our sales groups use "leads" such as these.  I support one of the groups in my firm.  There are MANY regulations by both state and federal that a company generating names and numbers to call must abide by.  I don't know wether they r or not, American Getaways llc has a B rating on the BBB. Not that it mean a whole lot but it does show they are likely not a scam.  I imagine they are a marketing firm whom calls these leads and sells someones product. Unfortunately these forms staff sales reps that aren't the most proffesional at times...believe me I know first hand.  It's a full time job managing some of these staffers, I've seen it.

Maybe next time don't fill the forms out, or if u do make sure you know what is going to happen.  By reading the terms.  I know we don't always take the time to do that but at least as a consumer ull know where ur putting sensitive information down on..  I know in my industry how hard it is to create new business, before we execute lets at least give them a fair trial...just sayin.
