Linear Title and Amerisave are running a total scam. It is bizarre that these companies have so many complaints on Google that I didnt notice them. BAD MOVE! I should have done a google search on these scammers. My wife and I have been saving for some time to purchase our first home. We applied online for a home mortgage with Amerisave and I submitted financial information including social security numbers for me and my wife. After 2 months the laon was approved and we were going to wait for the notary to come to our home. The notary shows up smelling like booze first off. Then all the figures were wrong. Amerisave told us it was Linear Title fault. Linear Title then told us it was Amerisaves fault. Linear Title told us they would cut their fees to make it up to us! Whoever heard of such a thing - shear bribery! I saw on Google where Amerisave is being sued in a class action. I hope they get what is coming to them and to Linear Title and their drunk notary. Stay away from these companies - Linear Title and Amerisave - as they are horrible!

I Have Had Great Experiences With Linear Title

AUTHOR: Steven F. - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, September 27, 2012

I don't know who this guy is, but he sounds like a disgruntled ex employee.  I didn't see a signature?

I personally have a lot of dealings with this company and am very happy with them.  I know that isn't what you want to hear on this website, but it happens to be true.  They do what they say and will go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied.  I will continue to do business with them in the future whenever I need Title services.  Keep up the good work.

Inflammatory Title & Outdated Links

AUTHOR: Ellie James - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, September 07, 2012

First, the title of this report seems excessively inflammatory to me. To include the words INTERNET SCAM - in all caps, no less - in the title is way above and beyond the scope of the actual complaint. I found this site through an internet search and that title appeared in the results' blurb front and center. Once I arrived at the site, however, I found it wasn't what this report was about at all.

Secondly, I've actually followed the links posted by the husband in his subsequent comment and they are all nearly irrelevant. Three of them do actually apply to Linear Title, but the newest of those is several years old. I haven't located anything more recent than that in my searching. The other links are all regarding Amerisave. Amerisave used Linear Title as their title company for his mortgage; they are not the same company. I find it very misleading that he would post about the two interchangeably. I also can't locate any more of the "hundreds" - sorry, "HUNDREDS" - of reports that have been filed against them. They all seem to be the same one or two incidents re-posted over and over again by sites that just scan for reports like these.

I've worked with Linear Title personally and have found them to be generally pleasant and accommodating. I understand the couple who filed this report had an unfortunate experience with them, whether through Linear's fault or Amerisave's, and I'm not trying to downplay that. To escalate their experience to the level of an "internet scam," however, is just wildly exaggerating. This isn't a rant to your friends and family; it's intended for public display and an effort should be made to present the facts as they happened.

Here are but a few. If there was one or two reports , that would be one thing but when there are HUNDREDS of reportswell- where there  is smoke , there is fire..Read on:
