As most visitors to the Ripoff Report are aware, it is our general policy NOT to take sides in disputes between authors of reports and individuals named in reports. Because Ripoff Report staff have no way to determine which side is telling the truth, we do not usually add our own comments to reports nor do we pass judgment on those named in reports. Thats not our role.

However, we must make a rare exception here by letting our readers know about a series of extremely offensive and threatening emails we recently received about the report posted above. Below are a series of unedited emails we received from someone using the name Graeme Bell and using the email address: graemebell@iinet.net.au. As you can see, these emails are extremely disturbing and threatening.

Anyone viewing these emails should be aware of two important facts.

First, we do not know and cannot confirm if they were actually sent by Mr. Bell, or simply by someone pretending to be him. Email addresses can be spoofed and accounts can be hacked, so its always possible that these emails were NOT sent by the person identified in the email as Graeme Bell.

Second, Ripoff Report does NOT tolerate threats and we will NOT cave in to threats. On the contrary, our track record speaks for itself over the past 10+ years, we have spent millions of dollars defending the First Amendment rights of our users to speak their minds and to share information freely and openly. We will never stop our efforts to protect and promote free speech simply because someone uses cowardly threats or illegal attacks.

Individuals who attempt to threaten us in an effort to have something removed from the Ripoff Report need to know that these threats will NOT work. On the contrary, we will use every tool at our disposal to ensure that anyone making illegal threats is caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

The report above does seem to have an eerie similarity to the emails Rip-off Report Received.

There is no such case in the Washington State Court system - even if there was an acquittal, a case number would have been filed.  Also, there is no such article in the Seattle Times (check the link).
