I purchased a "micro teacup" male Yorkie from Jennifer and Jacob at www.iheartteacups.com in October 2010.  He was advertised as being 5.5 months old, weighing 22 oz.  He was also advertised as being CKC registered.  His pictures were the most darling thing I'd ever seen.  I fell head over heels in L?VE and immediately sent an email.  Throughout the next day, I corresponded with Jennifer & Jacob via email and phone.  They seemed very helpful and very concerned.  I was sure they were an ethical breeder because I didn't see any complaints.  (I googled under I heart teacups puppies; apparently Jennifer Tung has had a few other sites that she changed names after her reviews got ugly...explaining the lack of reviews on www.iheartteacups.com)  I also thought it was a good sign they had kept the little guy until he was 5.5 months old (supposedly due to his small size).  At any rate, I went ahead and sent payment for him and they arranged a flight for him.  I picked him up at the airport and they were still playing the concerned role.  They also emailed a few times within the next few days to check on him and make sure he was adjusting okay.  And he was.

However, over the course of the next few months, I'd tried to no avail to contact them about his registration papers that I'd been promised would arrive a few weeks after him.  Christmas came and went; I sent a Christmas picture and a request for his papers- no response.

Now, my little guy is almost a year old.  (Provided the birthday Jennifer gave is correct, which I suspect it may NOT be....I think the "almost full grown 5.5 month old" puppies listed on her site are really more like 8, 10, & 12 week old pups....)  At almost a year, he is nowhere near the 2.5 lbs maximum that Jennifer had advertised and emphasized.  He's more like 4, maybe 5 lbs.  I love him dearly and THANK GOD he has been healthy; I know this story is nothing compared to the people who get sick puppies that die within days or have to spend thousands and thousands of dollars on emergency vet bills.  However, at the end of the day, she still conned me out of $3200 for a Yorkie who STILL has no registration papers and is double the size she advertised; both of which are violations of the California state laws regarding the sale of dogs.
The way he grew, you'd swear she wasn't feeding him where he came from and that's why he stayed so small.
