Was given misleading info on the cost of photo shoot. We were NOT given information on extra costs to get photo's. We went to meet with Rio on the date of 9/17/10. We had received the flyer for the free photo shoot. We were told when we got there the cost of the shoot was going to be $160.00 for the hair and makeup. This would be taken the photo's and entering them into the contest for the gold's gym. We were then told even if you did not win you would get some of the photos to use for her portfolio only. NO EXTRA COST information was given to us. We asked three times about getting a copy of the photos. We were given the information on the copyrights. We were given information on the contest rules. We were led to believe that we would get photos (for portfolio use only)at no extra cost. We did the shoot on 8/22/10. Again nothing was said on the extra cost to get the photo's. We were given a date to pick the picture for the contest at gold's gym. This was today 9/16/10, Of course when we got there they show us the pictures. We were then given the cost to have the pictures. Starting at $11.00 per picture(no copyrights) to $250.00(full copyrights). This information should have been given on the very first appt with Rio on 8/17/2010. We have been to serveral places to have the photos done. We know what to ask, this infomation was witheld from us. We need the photo's for the building of the portfolio so we are paying the cost of $250.00. We feel lied to and cheated. I want the company to provide the correct and full information to the customer. I want other customers to be given all the information before they choose to work with this company. I feel we were lied to, then cheated. I feel all the costs for photo shoot and picture should be in writing and signed at the first appointment. We should get some of the photo's for the portfolio use only at no cost. I want the payment of $160.00 paid at sign up to be refunded back to us or applied to the final cost of the picture.
