My xbox began overheating very badly in March of this year (2013), so I decided to send my Xbox to microsoft themselves. However, they would not fix it because the sticker in the back had been scratched and it took a month to get it back. I then went on the interent to find an alternative for my problem.
The solution to my problem was 360-pros, with affordable rates, timely returns, and no issues with company warranties. I sent in my Xbox in early April (4/5 I believe) with high hopes. It returned to me a month later and I was very excited to see my xbox fixed. I plugged it in to test it and to my dismay it still had the same problem.
I called and decided to send it back to them. They called back within a week telling me that my xbox was unrepairable (after telling me they were repairing it the last time). I decided to let them recycle my xbox (because they wanted $20 just to send it back to me) and for them to send me a refurbished xbox for just $80 dollars more.
I thought about it for a second, and quickly called back to tell them to cancel the refurbished xbox and just refund me back the money (which now included the failed repair service and the additional $80 for the refurbished console I quickly changed my mind about). The lady was very nice and told me to expect to see the refund within two weeks.
It has now been two months with no refund in sight. My bank was able to fight for the $80 in additional cost so that I now only need $100 back but now I have to way of reaching this company. Their website is down, they don't respond to my e-mails, and I actually ended up without an xbox because they kept my system.
I'm not sure how I'm going to get my money back, but it's going to happen. I'm not going to let this company run off with my xbox and $100 of my hard-earned money.
If for some reason this company puts up their website again to do business, steer clear from these people. They will rip you off, and leave you frustrated and angry with yourself for falling for one of these dirty tricks.
