The exact same thing happen to me!  Linda Bell, from this company, left a message on my phone in the afternoon of September 2009. Ironically, this same day, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and my fiance and I  had decided to get married on the 26th of October so that my mother would be able to give me away before she went under for surgery. I listened to my messages later that evening and it was Linda stating to give he a call because I had been approved for a $5000 loan! I thought that this was a sign from God!  I called her back and I applied for $5,000.00 loan.  They said because of my credit issues,  that I was approved for a secured loan. I had to put down the first six months of payments a total of $926.34 dollars plus $86.00 Western Union fee totaling to $1,012.34 to Aisha Prosper in Canada.  She told me that this was my 1st 6 months worth of payments and there would be no payments due for six months.  I was reassured by Linda that I would receive $5000.00 in my checking account since I chose to have the money direct deposited into my checking account within 6 to 8 hours. I double checked with them several times that this was for sure and was told yes. Because this money was for my wedding.  The following day, Jonathan called me and told me that I needed to read the last page of my contract where I needed to send an additional $900 for the security deposit! I knew this was a scam at that point.  There was no way this was possible and Jonathan told me that he would refund my money within 30-  by November 16th.  I called continuously from that day on and they where rude, hang up on me, or not even answer my calls because you have to identify yourself through their phone system. They did not care what happened to my life.  Out of all of this, I still cannot get married, I did not know how I would be able to pay my bills, eat, get to work, how I will be able to pay for my back rent or survive period.   Could some one please help all of us who have went through with this pain and suffering that A1 Consolidation Group has caused us?? I have not received a refund neither.
