ADR Solar They sold us 12 panels for $12,500.00 to heat our pool and it NEVER worked! Woodland Hills California

This is a big rip off company. We paid $12,500.00 for 12 Solar panels to heat our pool. We knew nothing about Solar and we're stupid enough to believe the BS their sales person told us. At this point we're experts on Solar!

For one, you can not use Solar on a lagoon shaped pool, which is what we had. When you have Solar heating for a pool, you have to cover the pool every night. You can not put a cover on a lagoon shaped pool because they don't make them and there is no way to fit one. You also must have the exact square footage of Solar panels that is the square footage of your pool. We had only 1/8th of the Solar panels compared to the size of our pool.

We had 4 other Solar pool companies and 2 pool companies come to evaluate and they all said the same thing. They also said that the price we paid should have given us 8 times the panels but a lagoon shaped pool can not be Solar heated since you can't cover it!  And that we needed a lot more panels to heat the size of our pool. Some had different opinions on the material of the panels.

We filed a suit with the State of CA and we're awarded a refund. However, the official reward phone call came 9 days after we sold our house so the state could not honor the award. Of course, it took them almost a year to resolve the case...the usual slowness of CA!

Hopefully you've just learned two important things that we wish we knew...no lagoon shape pool can be Solar heated, must be covered every night and must have equal square footage of pool and panels!

This is a very dishonest company!  Find a company that has the above criteria! And if the pool doesn't heat right away, get a refund!
