I therefore got out of my car and went over to the courthouse. I spent about 1/2 an hour in the courthouse and when I came back my car was towed. It is my understanding that the same attendant that made no effort to give me a ticket or to collect called the towing company to pick up my car for which I was charged $124.00. While I was there very distraught I realized that the same thing had happened to 4 other people and I don't know how many others that I am not aware of. The scam appears to be that the attendant lur you to park in their lot. They make no effort to give you a ticket or to collect in hope that you will leave the car so they get to call the ALL COUNTY TOWING who gives the attendant a portion of the money they collect.
This apparently is a win win for both the towing company and for the attendants. I would like some one to set them up by going to the lot to park and videotaping everything from entering to towing of the car. This is so corrupt and so many people are suffering as a result of these scam artist. I would like to get together with someone who will help me ensure that we bring these criminals to justice. Additionally they are very rude and obnoxious. I would not be surprised if they are not being protected by the police because no one seems to be able to get any kind of redress. These people do anything they want and get away with it.

POSTED: Thursday, December 20, 2012AND WHY do these drivers offend so often ? well this particular PUBLIX has a roof top parking facility that trucks cannot navigate the ramp and hairpin turn required to access the PUBLIX parking when these drivers stop to go in an pick up for take out LUNCH or a snack break AS WELL AS a very low roof on the street access short term PUBLIX parking - so the wide open lot is easy to park in for no more than fifteen minutes - which is all the spotter / driver team need to hook up their prey
PLUS since the event takes no more than twenty minutes total SO the duo can rip off their employER and divide the spoils withOUT calling it in
what a show this is ROBERT sorry you're missing it

POSTED: Wednesday, April 04, 2012the window is now SHADED by an awning so yes it is literally a shady operation LOL
actually if towed from a jurisdiction, such as the city of sunrise, the towing company must comply with that municiplities regulations, however MANY municipalities within broward county do NOT have towing regulations
that is why it is OPEN SEASON for towing companies to rip-off and scam people without proper oversight
towing regulations were deactivated in broward county some years ago and only the towns and cities that took their own action and have revived towing regulation give consumers any leverage at all
otherwise i've withnessed towing drivers RANSACK interiors and otherwise damage exteriors of hook-ed up vehicles and have come to learn this is includeable as a tow truck drivers compensation who pawns the stolen personalty typically to support a drug habit
of course the industry counters with the argument that unauthorized access to no parking areas is tantimount to violating private property rights from encroaching violators - well then stand in front of these lots and verbally warn unsuspecting violators they are about to be towed and i guarantee you will get approached with an argument from the spotter in that lot who will tell you to mind your own business and stay out of it - GUARANTEED
not to mention the scam that had the spotter herself flg drivers INTO the lot only for those vehicles to be towed away when the owners had parked and then walked away

POSTED: Thursday, March 22, 2012I saw something on the TV saying that all towing agencies need to except at least TWO forms of payment, I'm not sure if this is true but nonetheless it doesn't seem right to me. Also being that I believe they work in conjunction with the lovely Broward County Police department they seem to be able to get away with things that your ordinary towing company can't.
Anyway, bottom line, they suck. Thanks for your time :)

POSTED: Monday, January 09, 2012seems there is more vehicles that could be towed away yet linger until the driver returns and pays cash money on the spot NOT to be towed away
just last week a brand name delivery truck that couldn't fit into the publix parking garage was hooked-up BUT not towed away and the delivery driver paid cash money which i saw got split with the ducking under the dashboard spotter
apparently the RANSACKERS are now scamming the tow truck operator directly
i guess it's the case of NO HONOR among thieves

"....So where is it?"
robert,
all in due time my good man (its part of an educational thesis for an advanced degree for me)
as you would appreciate i do not want to publish in the entirety until i myself have connected all the dots and confirmed my sources some of whom have either no reason to cooperate or their own agendas - or both
just as in the RANSACKED STRETCH LIMO i did not report it because in real time i did not know what i was witnessing, it was only afterwards that i got the first hand details from those directly involved, however i confess, they did not use their real names and are now just leaves blowing in the wind and onto their next scheme i suppose because i cannot find them today
moreover it may just be the stretch limo owner was fully compensated and made whole for the RANSACKing loss - and it may also have a great deal to do with shutting down a most productive web of ALL COUNTY TOWING as a source for sucking people in at that downtown parking lot as it is now chained off and inaccessible depriving ALL COUNTY TOWING of an estimated dozen or more "customer" vehicles a day at that spot (that would equate to a loss of $7,440 per week for ALL COUNTY TOWING!)
and also as you would appreciate ALL COUNTY TOWING has no reason to cooperate with requests for information through interviews or questioneers, and even i would advise them at this time to just "lawyer up and shut up"
plus the black friday event at sawgrass mills mall may prove to be the end of ALL COUNTY TOWING since Applebees has a multi-million dollar public image to protect and any damage to their national brand is actionable big time - more than a local towing operation has resources to defend itself against
on december 28 the city of sunrise is also comming after ALL COUNTY TOWING so their goose may be cooked on that end as well - too many locals were involved and the joke is the only thing worse than towing a lawyers car is towing his wifes car while she is shopping LOL
otherwise you can follow my advise to the city of hollywood which is relaxing and eliminating draconian parking rules in the hopes of expanding and extending downtown hollywood in the hopes of a cultural and civic enterprise local people want to visit often - instead of NOT visiting, being afraid to be ticketed or towed
but that's it for me here as i do not wish to high-jack this ripoff report complaint any further

You've got me quite intrigued now

POSTED: Thursday, December 15, 2011But your actions have me a bit more intrigued as to your involvement in all of this. Because you now not only saw them ransacking at least one car but you talked to one of the accomplishes and the "spotter". So I ask again where is any mention of you reporting this to the authorities? If the local news found the "mass towing" of interest, I am sure that they would be falling over themselves to be the first one to break this story. So where is it?

all county towing went to far this time
AUTHOR: frankD - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, December 15, 2011
POSTED: Thursday, December 15, 2011SUNRISE (CBSMiami) City officials in Sunrise have taken a step to make sure that a mass towing of cars during Black Friday shopping never happens again.
Though no one specifically requested it, tow-trucks removed hundreds of vehicles from parking lots of businesses near the Sawgrass Mills Mall on Black Friday, reports the Sun Sentinel.
The Sunrise Police Department is also trying to find out whether any laws were broken when towing companies removed the cars.
The Sentinel reports Sunrise commissioners tentatively approved a strict set of guidelines for towing companies on Tuesday.
A final vote is expected on Dec. 28th.
Some shoppers told the newspaper they parked in an Applebees parking lot because the restaurant was closed. A few hours later, the shoppers who parked there were stranded because all of their cars had been towed away.
To make matters worse, they claimed they were forced to pay inflated cab fare to the towing company which forced them to pay cash to retrieve their vehicles.
Shoppers said they paid between $100 and $124 in cash to get them back.
An attorney for All County Towing told the newspaper thats the risk you take if you park at a closed business.
All County Towing removed 162 vehicles from parking lots near Sawgrass Mill Mall on Nov. 25th.
The attorney said other companies were also towing cars that night.
Meanwhile, Applebees is offering full refunds of the towing charges to show they never condoned the operation.
Under the new rules, tow companies: must accept personal checks and provide change if the car owner pays cash; cant remove a car if the owner returns before the vehicle is connected to the tow truck; and must notify the police department within 30 minutes of towing a car.
In addition, the tow company and business need a written agreement that states the name and address of the property owner requesting the tow, the time of day and days of the week the tow is authorized, and the duration of the agreement.
The agreement must list the location where the vehicle will be stored.
And the site cant be more than 10 miles from where the tow originates.
People who think their cars were illegally towed on Black Friday should call the Sunrise Police Department at 954-746-3600.

but of course you're in the right
AUTHOR: frankD - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, December 14, 2011you see i spoke to those involved.
like the tow truck driver's accomplice in the empty abandonded lot just NORTH of Publix, and he spilled the beans, only after the RANSACKING - which led me to discuss the event with the spotter
the spotter, who i spoke to at Publix afterwards, and then the bus station MacDonalds a while later, said that the stretch limo was the "wrong" vehicle to RANSACK, and he was quite verbose as he felt he didn't get his proper "cut" of the booty from the limo
but of course you're in the right - bottom line no one should violate another persons property rights like illegally park in a vacant lot, so whatever happens afterwards is part of the punishment - right ?
however, do you mind telling us why that corner of the lot is NO LONGER IN USE ? i saw how productive that corner was with what say three or five cars at a clip between 9 and 9:15 every weekday, it was a bounty to ALL COUNTY TOWING - no ?
i really miss that show

POSTED: Wednesday, December 14, 2011You continually mention how they didn't do anything to collect payment. Well how about you? If there was plenty of time for them to come up and ask you, there was plenty of time for you to go up and ask them when you needed to pay. Obviously if they were towing every car(or even a majority of cars) there would have been a line of tow trucks just picking off cars one by one. Now since you didn't mention any line of tow trucks when you parked or came back one could figure that there weren't any. So it appears that most people were able to figure out when to pay.
Now as to "FrankD"
If cars were parking in the Publix(a grocery store) parking lot and going to the courthouse the tows were probably legal. If they tow cars that are actually customers then that would be a valid complaint, but unless you are the Limo Driver you are just posting innuendo(which you state should not be posted).
As to you witnessing them ransacking the cars. I am sure since this is not more innuendo you called 9-1-1 immediately and described the tow truck and driver who was doing this. With that information I am sure they were able to find this person and with your witness statement able to arrest them. So can you provide us with any evidence that this is more than rumors or innuendo.

it could have been worse
AUTHOR: frankD - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, December 14, 2011
POSTED: Wednesday, December 14, 2011i have personally witnessed All County Towing remove cars from the lot across from the Publix in the Broward Courthouse area and take them down the street and RANSACK the towed vehicles
this once happened involving a stretch limo that ventured into the lot and was parked in that lot while the driver went into Publix
within about a month the, the front corner of that lot was oddly sectioned off, so that parking could NOT be accomodated in those previously "productive" front spaces, and thereby limiting the potential to maximize towing illegally parked cars
i guess the owner of that limo was the "wrong" person to tow away
Please note that rebuttals should NOT contain any of the following: Rumors, speculation, or innuendo unless you have personal knowledge that your statements are true;
the POINT i am making based on my factual statement on my first hand observation is with all the postings by those who fell into this web, and admit they parked illegally and paid their fines, it could have been worse - and at least one "customer" of All County Towing may have proven to them to be the "wrong" car to tow
