Advertising Services - Robert Mahanes SCAM, FALSE ADVERTISING Texas, California

 I am a local small business in Haltom City, Texas, and I had Robert Mahanes walk into my store offering the moon for advertising.  He told me I would be in 4 local grocery stores that are closest to my store location.  He told me I would be the only advertiser in my industry in the magazine, and that he was making a GREAT deal for me.

I should of known he talks fast, over you, and is pushy, but against what my stomach was telling me, I needed advertising of my business and wanted to get started right away. 

The problems began when I started questioning when I was going to get my copy of the magazine.  I finally did get it a month into the process.  When I opened it, I was NOT on the page he told me I would be and paid $1500 for this "great" spot.  When you turned the next page, low and behold there was one of my direct competitors in the SAME magazine.

So I started trying to call Mr. Mahanes, and after being transferred around and the customer service people will not give you the local reps cell phone or office #.  In talking to the rep, she said I was in 3 stores that are MORE then 40 miles from my store location.  I told her that won't help my business, and she said she would have Mr. Mahanes call me.  I am still waiting on that phone call 5 months later.

I cancelled my second check to them.  Of course I am getting those threatening calls about collecting their money, but they won't see another dime from me or my business.   This company is a rip-off and telling people they can do things they just clearly can not deliver on.
