I bought a "new" survival shelter from Atlas Shelters.  The company (Ronal Hubbard) would not ship the shelter until he received all the money from me.   When it arrived it had 2" standing water in the bottom.   All inside was wet.  Wood floor and bunks warped.  The plumbing leaked and I paid to have that repaired.   The "mud room" connection band was for a 6' conduit.   The unit had a 7' conduit.   The movable furnishings were not secured and marred the flooring during shipment.  No conduit seals were sent until after the shelter was in the ground (too late in spite of repeated phone calls and conversations with Ron Hubbard)   I had to pay for the seals.

There was a 4" hole in the side of the shelter.  I paid to have that repaired by a professional welder. The "new" floring is marred and scarred.   

The entry ladder is too short by 3 feet.   

The "20 amp ready to plug in" (Hubbards words) electric  for the whole unit tripped circuit brakerss until I paid for an electrician to rewire it to a 30 amp circuit from the house to the shelter.   

Extra expenses are around 4000-7000 USD.   A fool and his money is soon parted.   I am the fool.
