I purchased $5,000 worth of audio/video equipment and speakers from them in February 2008 and each item was supposed to come with warranty provided by Audiophile Liquidator to match the manufacturers warranty.  I had no problems until October 2009 when the sub-woofer speaker I had purchased stopped working.  After having my installers inspect the speakers, they concluded it was defective and I should have it replaced as it has a 5 year warranty.  I contacted Audiophile Liquidators in Dec 2009 and they initially avoided my phone calls and emails.  Finally, they asked that I send the speaker back to them for repair.  I sent them the speaker in January and they initially told me 2 -3 weeks for repair.  After 3 weeks, I contacted them again and they said they are waiting for a part and it would be another 2-3 weeks.  Finally in March they said it was repaired and shipped the speaker back to me.  Only when I received the speaker, I noticed the box had been badly damaged and when I opened the box, I noticed that the speaker had been wrapped in only one layer of bubble wrap with a few peanuts and the speaker was completely damaged.  I suspected foul play and I was curious to see if the speaker was even repaired and when I plugged it in, it still did not work.  I immediately contacted Audiophile Liquidators that same day and they emailed me stating that they will be filing an insurance claim with UPS.

Clearly they never repaired my speaker and they did not intend to honor their warranty and were looking for other ways to handle my situation.  The UPS insurance scam was their last hope and when I denied to have a part in it, I did not hear back from them.

If you decide to purchase from them, take into consideration that your manufacturer warranty will not protect you if something stops working, and neither will this company.
