Border Internation in El Paso, TX sold us a truck knowing that there was a Cummins Engine recall as of April of 2010 concerning an exhaust leak into the truck which was producing carbon Monixide poisoning. They did not preform the safety recall and failed to notify us of this issue.

Upon buying the truck for $72,000 we have had to put over $20,000 into it after only 1 year of ownership. 3 months ago we took the truck into Border International of Las Cruces, NM for AC problems and was charged for work, as well as having to go to the El Paso, TX Border International that evening because it was still not operational . The next day it went out again. Our truck was already down for 2 weeks and we were already out on the road so we were unable to go back to them. We stopped at 14 different International dealerships over the course of the next 3 months and NOONE could fix the problem, but they all charged us extra money for just trying to figure it out.

There is a lot of overcharging, underhanded work going on at the International dealerships. We have all the receipts, as well as statements that the truck could not be fixed. We also began to get very sick which prompted us to call Navistar, who is the parent company of all of the International dealerships. They had us go to Nalley Motors in Atlanta, GA to see what was going on. They were able to see that our engine had not been updated since it rolled off the assembly line and told us we had to pay for that, which we did. They also informed us of damage that was done on the AC housing that was part of the problem with the AC. They informed us this could have only happened when the AC work was performed in Las Cruces, NM or El Paso, TX due to their service repair order, since it was inside of the dash.

They contacted Border International in Las Cruces, NM and informed them of this issue. They refused to pay for the new housing and said we would have to pay for it or drive 2,000 miles back to them and they would try to fit us in to look at it. Nalley also informed us and Border International about the deadly Carbon Monixide leak and Border International refused to do anything about it. Nalley Motors told us that we had to pay $3700 to get all of these issues fixed and we would have to seek recourse thru other means. Nalley Motors said they called Cummins and they would not cover this recall issue due to it only being covered up until 500,000 miles, we are at 570,000. They told us we would have to pay for this also.

This morning we contacted Cummins. We were advised by Nathen Richards that we are covered, there is not a maximum on mileage but only on the date. It is only covered for repairs thru January of 2012. This means Nally Motors lied to us and tried to get us to pay for this instead of filing for the payment thru Cummins recalls. They allowed my wife and I to leave out of their dealership with a life threatening issue with our truck just because they didn't want to do the work. We have both been very sick, coughing, aching, very tired, headaches, hair loss, and times of blacking out.

We have lost our home due to all of the unnecessary repair bills, time down, low fuel mileage and unnecessary hotel and food bills. Our health has diminished and our mental status is nothing but pain and anguish.

We want to inform the public on EVERYTHING that we have had to endure due to International dealerships not doing there jobs or caring about human beings lives, all over the country, so that no one else has to go thru what we have had to go thru.

We have all the facts on paperwork and proof thru work order statements, there is just not enough room on here to even begin to tell our whole story of the nightmare we are currently living in!

Anyone that would like to contact us or needs more information or proof of the above please feel free to contact us at any time.

Thank you very much!
