This company claims to save you up to 10% on your electric and sell you on the idea that you are saving money by trying them out. When I actually read my bill it shows I am paying 20% more than I was originally paying. How do they get away with selling this crap.

Yes I called and they couldnt do anything about it. And I called Con ed which stated they have an 11.4 cents per kw price and Browns has a 15.931 cents price which is clearly 25% more. So instead of saving with them I am losing with them. It explains why I have a $300 plus electric monthly. They save you for the first couple of months then when you're not paying attention they raise it. This is a typical case of scamming people. Don't change and stay with who has the actual power.

Have you called the office to get information on why your bill went up 20%? It sounds like you experienced a typical increase in usage during the period of time as is expected for this time of year? If the KwH used this month is greater than the amount used last month....your bill will increase by the same percentage.
