Bullfrog Builders Equal Opportunity Housing Council or E.O.H.C., also American Association of Registered Retired Persons or A.A.R.R.P. Scam artists, ripoff, Fraud, Investigation, Reverse Mortgage, I.R.S.,New York State Attorney General Office College Point, Queens, New York

PEOPLE, YOU NEED TO BE AWARE THAT THERE IS A COMPANY OUT THERE IN COLLEGE POINT QUEENS, NEW YORK, CALLED BULLFROG BUILDERS, WHICH IS 'SCAMMING' AND RIPPING PEOPLE OFF IN THE HOME IMPROVEMENT INDUSTRY, LEFT AND RIGHT!  The reason that I know about it is because I used to work for them, and they 'scammed' me too! They 'never' paid me for my work and 'tried' to have me pay my own taxes on the 'little' lunch money that they were giving me, which according to the I.R.S. at the end of the year is going to result in this company being closely 'audited' and 'penalized' for 'fraudulently' attempting to evade paying taxes to the government by listing me as a 'private contractor', when according to federal law, I should have all along been listed by this company as being an 'employee'. But, they'll learn more about that at the end of the year when they try to come at me with a '1099', and I 'contest' it as I intend to do....  Right now, let me tell you how this company is out there 'scamming' and 'ripping' people off who own houses.  To get your business, this company is calling you up and 'misrepresenting' themselves as being 'The Equal Opportunity Housing Council'' or the 'E.O.H.C.', which of course to you is supposed to 'sound' like a 'government agency' or an agency which is 'affiliated' with one, but in truth, the Equal Opportunity Housing Council is nothing more than a 'One' man company with a phone line, which is operating out of the 'same' office of Bullfrog out there in College Point Queens. The whole thing is a 'scam'... By telling you that they are the E.O.H.C., or in the case of 'Senior Citizens', the American Association of Registered retired persons' (A.A.R.R.P.) which the company of Bullfrog 'also' goes by the name of, and which also is designed to 'sound' official and sounds very much like the well known senior citizen organization, the 'A.A.R.P', the company gains your 'trust' over the phone and then by 'falsely' telling you that you might qualify for government 'grants' to haved your house fixed up, they then 'trick' you into giving them your 'personal' information such as your 'date of birth' and your 'social security number'....Wow!, They then run a credit check on you to find out if you can afford to 'pay' for the home improvement services out of your 'own' pocket, or if your credit score is 'high' enough for them to arrange for you to get a 'loan' from either the 'bank' or a 'lending institution' to get the work done... Work incidentally that, you guessed it... 'Bullfrog Builders' will be the 'contractor' performing, as they will have been 'recommended' to you by either the so-called 'E.O.H.C. or the equally 'fictional' so-called A.A.R.R.P. Its 'all' a 'Scam'....Whatever happened to the 'Government Grants' that you were told that you might qualify for?  All of a sudden you wont hear no more about that.  The truth of the matter is, Bullfrog Builders, or the EOHC or the AARRP or 'WHATEVER' Bullfrog Builders is calling itself these days, can't get you a federal grant for home improvement no quicker than you can get it yourself... So don't be fooled by that crap... Its not about this company attempting to get you a government grant or a government program like they say, ' its about them fooling you into giving them your 'personal information' so that they can see if you can afford to 'pay' for the home improvements that you want out of your own pockets, or at least can 'qualify' to get a 'loan' to pay for it.  For those of you who have given these people your social security numbers and dates of births, you need to 'know' that your personal information is all 'over' that office for anyone to see... Its presently in desks on tables and lying around in file drawers...Years of the stuff... To the best of my knowledge, This company doesn't even do 'background checks either... At least they did'nt with me when I was working there...So, you really don't know 'who's' handling your personal information at this place, or who's 'seeing' it....As for their website at bullfrogny.com, don't believe everything that you see... When I was working there, 'pretending' to be the 'E.O.H.C. like I had been told by them to do, I actually received a lot of complaints from dissatisfied customers about the work that Bullfrog builders had done on their homes.  In some cases, according to the customers, they never even had 'finished' the work 'after' they had gotten paid for it.... Now, I'm not saying that Bullfrog Builders doesn't do a good job at times on some or even most of the jobs that they work on as 'contractors', but if they're supposed to be as good as they claim to be on their website, then why in the world do they need to 'misrepresent' themselves to 'you' on the phone like they continue to do?  Dont they realize that thats a 'crime'?  Dont take my word for it though...Call them up on the phone and ask for the E.O.H.C. or the A.A.R.R.P. ,and see for yourself...
