Capital Tax offices opened for tax season January 14, 2013, however they have not released payroll, neither hourly or commission to their tax preparers in over a month of employment. Originally the promised all preparers and admins that they would be paid hourly weekly (only $8-$10 hr.) and commissions bi-weekly (only $25-$50) per return.

From the beginning they changed payroll companies, which gave them their first excuse, and changed their obligation from weekly hourly pay to bi-weekly along with commission payments. Next, they blamed it in IRS delays and errors. They have no problwm with using employees which they constantly threaten about performance, but do not pay. They have no regard for people with family and bills, and who drive to the office to work daily spending gas and lunch money.

Keep in mind that the average tax prep. fee is $500 not including additional bank processing fees of $120+. Their total fees can easily exceed $700-$800 on the regular. These things are not told to preparers, as they rush them into the field to find clients, usually personal friends and family, with little or no walk-in traffic.

In fact, their fees actually increase without warning, and tax preparers knowing. Maybe this is why they target unexperienced and nuave tax preparers who don't know much about the industry and have nothing to compare to. The reality is the business only comes from preparers who go find business, but only receive at most $50 a return. The remaining $450-$750+ goes to Capital Tax and its partners. The Capital Tax business model is greedy and misleading, and they have the nerve to not pay their workers either by continually blaming the IRS or their payroll company.

This company needs to be exposed as well as their questionable practices. They have no place in business and they give the tax industry a black eye. Please expose them and get the word out.

I believe that exposing this company on the worldwide web was a good idea.

You can stay at this site and type in- STOP RUNNING RIPOFF, and click on Ripoff Report #269041 and go to Consumer Comment #3, entitled "Blame it on a Lawyer" and read the following quote that starts paragraph four-

QUOTE: "A Harvard Business Professor said that EXPOSURE is a corporation's WORST FEAR!" - August 21, 2007.

Fact: Thirteen months later, in September of 2008, the stock market crashed and the banking system in the USA collapsed. Lehman Brothers was one of the companies that went bankrupt and several others were also collapsing. General Motors and Chrysler Corp. filed for bankruptcy and needed to be bailed-out by the American people. One of the largest insurance companies in the world, AIG, also had to be bailed-out with over $100 Billion in taxpayer's money from the TARP.

You can 'Google' this- FRONTLINE: INSIDE THE MELTDOWN, and watch that documentary on the web for proof.

*Make sure to send a copy of your Ripoff Report to your Attorney General's office immediately. Just 'Google' this- GEORGIA ATTORNEY GENERAL, and all of the information is available on the web.
