Hello, this is a warning to houstonians living in southwest looking to buy a car AVOID this dealer owned by middle easterns at all cost! Even if you have cash.
Long story short, purchased a car for a certain amount, agreed and signed contract by both parties, almost 80% paid as down payment. I had an agreement signed with these "guys" in which no interest or late fees would be paid, But on the last payment and the day i was supposed to get the title, they showed me the same contract/agreement papers signed upon purchase, with a NOTE, a Written note that states that i WOULD have to pay all of the sudden, which added up to $2000-$4000 more.
It's a SCAM people, they dont use and you won't see ANY COMPUTERS at all; at this point you should realize that its not legit!. I was Young and Stupid, but needed a car to work, since my last car was a bit old had to sell for down payment.
Filed a lawsuit, "i think", and waiting on their lawyer since they dont even live in the city.

Your copy of the agreement and your cancelled checks (not the check stubs) is all you need. I doubt the original agreement disallowed late payment penalties.

Avoid this dealership at all Cost!! even if you plan to pay in cash. This is a warning for houstonians living in the south west part of town.
Long story short: purchased a truck from the people about a year ago, pay almost 80% in cash and the rest in installed payments. We made a signed agreement in which i would not be paying interests or late fees. Please Be AWARE that this people do not use computers at all, maybe its a religious thing (middle easterns). the only way they keep track of your payments is on a big yellow checkbook in which you get a check stub.
Turns out that on my last payment, the day i was supposed to get the title, the signed contract that we had agreed on had a written note with black pen, saying that i would be responsible for late fees which added up to $4000 more than the original price i had purchased the car for.Clearly the document had been FORGED! It was a copy, they refused to show me the originals. Cops were called but since my name and their name was on the title, i had to leave the because they were "lean holders". We sat down and i had all my check stubs with me, and could you believe that they had MISSING PAYMENTS on their book that i had made! because on their book i was almost $1000 short! thank god i had all the check stubs!.
I needed a car to work, but i was young and stupid by not figuring out there was something shady about this place and thats exactly what the cops said. So how they still doing business in our area? What if they lose that yellow check book? this and many question should be asked before you walk in this place.
Please be advise! Just trying to save you the trouble, because now i need legal help, which costs money!.
