I'm sitting here with my girlfriend(Amanda) who went to this place of business to receive a perm at the cost of 125 dollars for which I paid with my debit card. The first time she went to her appointment at Carousel the woman that was appointed to do the perm acted very rudely in front of my girlfriend to another hairdresser complaining how the boss shouldn't have given her this job to do as she does not know how to do perms. This woman's name was Michelle. Notwithstanding, they went through with the perm which all her co-workers said was a complete disaster when she went back to complain two days later.
Then, another perm was scheduled for a week later by someone with much more experience to have it redone. His name was Frank Capaci. So, she went to the appointment and Frank was very nice, did the perm a completely different way and 3 days later Amanda noticed the top of her hair was burned and the curls underneath were coming out.. Furthermore, everything is just knotty and frizzy. So, after two complete failures to give a perm, Amanda calls and asks about a refund.. what was explained is they will only give 55 dollars back because of the cost of all the products that they had to use. Amanda mentioned that if it was done right the first time none of those products would have had to been used the second time. So, now I(Danny), went in with her today and spoke to the owner(Richard Carousel) who was prepared to give her the 55$ refund which was less than half of the cost of the perm which ruined her hair.
When I requested a full refund which would only be reasonable considering she went back twice and they completely ruined her hair, I was met with complete rudeness and belligerence by him(Richard Carousel). He began yelling and screaming at me, basically blowing up in front of his other customers, refused to give any refund, and then demanded we leave his Salon, which we did. So now I am left with no refund to my debit card($125+10 tip=135), and she is left with destroyed hair.
