On december 29, 2012 I sent in my cell phone to be purchased by CellTradein.com for $140. Phone was a Samsung Galaxy Tab II in great condition. Sent in via UPS and they received the phone the next day. (have print outs to prove they got it via tracking number from UPS). They then sent me an email saying I had declined their offer to purchase for $1.00 (never got an email never was contacted other then one email from them saying they received the phone and would be in touch shortly). To date (1/9/2013) NO PHONE RETURNED (AS THEY PROMISED TO DO IN SUBSEQUENT EMAIL), NO MONEY RECEIVED, NOT EVEN THE LOUSY DOLLAR THEY SUPPOSEDLY OFFERED.....We were trying to sell my relatives cell phone as he is homeless and needs every dollar he can get. SHAME ON CELLTRADEIN.COM YOU RIPPED OFF A HOMELESS INDIVIDUAL.

Well, BIG surprise *NOT, after almost a month Cell Trade In.com is not returning any emails and the phone has not been returned. I have now filed a theft report with the City of Chicago Police Department.

Having had nothing but generic emails from CellTradein.com claiming they have sent my phone back (which they have had since 12/29/2012) and having NOT received any payment or my phone back I have now filed a fraud complaint with the City of Chicago Police Department. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
