This company is a scam. They advertise open casting calls to work as a extra for film, television, and commercials. They guarantee that they can find you work (but they never do). The talent manager will quote the names of several movies that will be filming that year in your local area, and will claim that he/she has the contract to fill these positions. They ask for large sums of money upfront, for them to find you work as a movie extra. Besides paying this company you will directed to another company Actors Den where you have further monthly fees, for you to find your own work. The company is rarely available to responds to phone or email once you have paid your money. The local "talent manager" will refuse to refund your money and refers you to the corporate office. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. YOU NEVER SHOULD PAY TO FIND WORK.

Clearly Creative Talent Is A Full Service Talent Agency. Search Their Company Name And You Will Find That They Have A Pretty BIG Reputation To Protect! One only has to look at the Films, Television Shows, TV Commeercials, Events and Trade Shows these people have featured Talent in...who in left brain would even think that a magnificent company like Clearly Creative Talent would ever DARE play with their reputation?
My name is DJ Marshall, I am a Certified, Accredited Cross Channel Marketing Specialist here in Edmonton, Alberta. I currently Market Clearly Creative Talent in both Calgary and Winnipeg. I can personally state that Clearly Creative Talent has helped thousands of Canadian Performers find work/employment on literally hundreds of High Profile Productions throughout Canada for years! Way To Go Clearly Creative Talent!
You Reputation Supercedes You!
Why don't the people that enter the industry try doing a little research on an industry before they attempt to destroy a reputable Brand? Can anyone name me one Talent Agency in the world that does not charge an upfront administration charge? How about the name of one Modeling Agency? The point is this, you can't simply pick up the telephone and shop your hot new Talent to some famous Hollywood Movie Director/Producer. You nedd head shots, you need a bio, forms need to be filled out...I mean come on, who's really that dumb?
A Cash Up Front Trade For Guaranteed Employment?
How about a very small administration fee for an opportunity to get shopped around...sounds right to me! Do you know of any Professional Models that didn'y pay big bucks to get his/her Portfolio in order so that he/she could begin the arduous task of looking for work??? The money that he/she paid for the pictures wasn't a trade for guaranteed employment! Well the upfront fees at Clearly Creative Talent are the same. Sort Of...
The upfront fees Clearly Creative Talent charges some Clients, is to provide valuable hands on training on things like the rules of being on set as well as on set etiquette. Yes we take headshots and fill out bios but there is so much more...All of our esteemed Performers also receive information with regards to what to expect on set. This valuable training and information is why the Performers at Clearly Creative Talent are more desirable to both Clients and Casting!
A little bit of research prior to entering an industry would go a long way towards stopping needless complaints like this one!
