This company claims to sell coffee for less but I could not find any coffee that was offered cheaper than I can find it on other websites. They do not have cheaper prices. In fact, on almost every coffee product, the price was $1.00 more than you could find on the manufacturers websites.
They claim to have a price match guarantee but when you present the cheap price, they do not honor the lower price. Their price match guarantee statement says they will match any product that they offer with the same or lower price. But when I spoke with a customer service rep., she said it was for K-cups only - even though the price match states clearly it is for ANY product.
Then when I spoke with the supervisor, he stated that he would match the price but he would have to charge shipping even though their website states free shipping on ALL orders over $45. It does not state that it is free shipping on all orders EXCEPT those with the price match guarantee nor does the guarantee state that shipping charges would apply.
The supervisor then did quite a lot of double talk and ended up saying that if I did not like the pricing that I am not forced to buy from them.
Watch out for this company. They offer something, advertise coffee for less, but make up rules as they go along. Do NOT buy from this ripoff company. False advertising!!!

Price Match Clarification

I am the supervisor who was mentioned in this report. When I spoke with this customer, she had asked about price matching for an offer from a competitor's website, which we are happy to do. When price matching another offer, we re-create the order on the competitor's website to see exactly what the total of their order will be with any hidden or unmentioned fees included. This is so that we are indeed comparing "apples to apples."
Upon re-creating the order from the competing website, there were additional charges that were part of the offer the customer had not been made aware of until I found them for her. Had the customer placed the exact same order with the competitor's website, she would have paid several dollars more.
I offered her a discount coupon on her order as well as free shipping, but she was not willing to accept that. I made a considerable effort to come to a fair compromise and be as reasonable as possible. She ultimately decided not to place her order with us, and I respected her decision.
We are always happy to speak with customers about any offers or promotions on our website and answer any questions. If a customer presents us with a competing offer that is lower than our price when we re-create the order through the competitor's website, we are happy to match it per the terms we've published at http://www.coffeeforless.com/k-cup-price-match-guarantee. We are always willing to address any questions over the phone at (800) 261 2859. We welcome all input from current or potential customers and strive to provide the best customer service experience possible.
We have been offering our Price Match program since 2010, and as a result, we have made many long-lasting relationships with very satisfied customers. It has definitely been a great way to give our customers the confidence that they will receive the best price for their products.
