I provide 3D Design work for Swimming Pool companies to use as Sales tools to present to their clients. David Duron placed an order with me to provide design work for a "hot customer". He called me to place the order at 9:45pm on March 21st, with little more than a verbal description of what he needed, and a pathetic cell phone picture of the residence; I burned the midnight oil and finished it that night. Much to his amazement, I totally nailed the design. The only thing that wasn't accurate was the orientation of the pool, which I corrected only minutes after his request. The result of his meeting with his client was that he SOLD the pool installation that day, and most certainly received some kind of deposit with the order.


The total cost of my work was only $275, and the agreement was that he'd send me a check within a day or so; fine, that's what the bulk of my honest customers do. But we're not talking about an honest customer, we're talking about David Duron who has a number of negative posts written about him by other clients who either got taken for a portion of the money paid to him, or got to the point where they had to deny him access to their property with the promise that police would be called if he set foot there again; a pretty serious situation in either scenario.


In my more recent communications with David, he promised me an additional $50 for my aggravation, which would be pretty silly to expect if he refuses pay the initial fee. It is now almost 6 weeks since I held up my end of the bargain, and guess who won't return my calls . . . . . . . 


Is $275 going to make or break me? Certainly not, but I feel an obligation to the unsuspecting and good hearted folks that might not see through the sheep's clothing this wolf dons regularly. If I can save a single victim from this thief's wrath, my lost $275 will be well spent.

The "Samples" were sent to you long before you placed this order. The facts are that . . . 

-  you called and gave me a full verbal description of what you needed (and asked me to write it down),

-  your girlfriend sent me a picture to help get the work done; proof of an order.

-  you asked for a revision for the pool's orientation; proof of an order.

-  you wrote that you will be sending payment numerous times (I still have the evidence),

-  after you were delinquent with payment, you promised to add another $50 to it; proof of an order.

-  you had a bunch of lame a*s excuses of health troubles LONG after you agreed to send payment,

-  you attempted to pay me via credit card at one point; proof of an order.

-  I had to send numerous emails giving you a final date to pay what you owe, or suffer online reporting,

-  and even then, you let my final "line in the sand" date pass,

Let me ask you a question, if you didn't place an order, why would you write emails saying you'll pay me?

If there was no charge, why did you pay me at all? Why did you send the additional $50 that you promised? Will your next rebuttal say that I kicked your door in, or held a gun to your head?

David, quit while you're behind, you're in the wrong, and not near clever enough to get past the evidence I have; it's bulletproof, and you know it. In closing, I want you to know that I am not the least bit remorseful for the report I've written. I gave you every opportunity to do the right thing. I provided my work to you only 3 hours after you placed the order, you sold the pool only hours after that, and didn't have appreciation enough to get me the lousy $275 afterwards???

You got what you deserve, and if you'd like to write additional rebuttals questioning MY honesty or integrity, I'll just have to screenshot my evidence, and post it within my next rebuttal. Good day to you.

Michael Bonner was asked for a sample of his work. There was no verbal or written contract between Michael Bonner and Cen-Tex Custom Pools. He has since been paid for his samples.
