Design Done Right Paid thousands of dollars for a website that never worked Scranton Pennsylvania

Ms. Kaminski is making another set of false statements. Her lies are extraordinary. My company has never been taken to a magistrate requesting any sort of refund for "bad work" - EVER. Our first experience was with Karen Kaminiski where we were taken to court. We have taken a client to court due to non-payment and was awarded our due. She continually makes false statements for some sort of personal gratification to try to tarnish our business name. Karen has no problem using the website we created, the design that is beautiful and marketing it nationwide. It's a case of someone not wanting to pay for a product after they change their mind, brought us to court, lost and is now trying to hurt our business. In our 10+ years of design experience we have never come across a situation like this and hope to never again.

Our clients know the high quality work we provide and Staff My Salon received a great product that was proven in court with hundreds of documents of testing, emails and design recommendations. We brought HER ideas to life, with HER instructions and HER business plan, it is not our fault if she changed her mind six months after the launch and changed how the business plan should work. She had a working site and as in our first response to her, it has been proven completely in court.

I'm not surprised at the response from Michele Bersch at Design Done Right, it is a accurate depiction of her unprofessionalism. Blaming the customer for the website they created for not working is just bad business and poor customer service and should show what a person will encounter if they choose to do business with Design Done Right.

I will not address anything Michelle has said other than I was not the first person or company to take Michelle and Design Done Right to the Magistrate, there were other dissatisfied customer requesting refunds for bad work.

The fact remains the Staff My Salon website that Michele (Design Done Right) and her team of subcontractors created did not work and was never going too based on the companies lack of knowledge and capabilities.

Regardless of what Michelle says and will continue to say in the future, she got paid over $10,000 for a site that never worked and that is a FACT.

Again this is my personal experience in dealing with Michelle Bersch and Design Done Right, I felt an obligation to tell my experience to the public and spare someone else a very expensive lesson.

The review from Karen/Staff My Salon is a false reflection of our company. We were hired to build a website on a specific platform and to do an organized list of tasks, which were completely fulfilled to a great review and proved beyond any doubt in a courtroom on July 22, 2014.  This poor review was given shortly after the Scranton Magistrate decided that Karen/Staff My Salon did not win the court case. Karen accepted the Magistrates decision and did not file an appeal. Karen was filing for the full refund of our project after she successfully marketed the site for half a year, ran articles nationwide, booked tradeshows and networked on social media all with no problem pushing images and links to the working website, which was functioning just fine for all her marketing purposes. 

Karen moved hosting and all the files a few months into the launch with a new company that improperly put them back together causing broken links - suddenly it was "our fault" and we received notice to go to court, not notice to fix the problem as she had already hired another company to design the site on a platform a friend recommended as "better". The site was fully tested and documented with hundreds of pages of proof that we provided in the courtroom. She changed her mind many times throughout the process of how she wanted her business plan to function and asked for additional work above our contract many times which would make a normal person wonder if one was so unhappy why would they keep asking for additional work. This was not to "fix" an issue but to add completely different levels of expansion onto the site, not errors as it was written in her statement.

Ms. Kaminski then even tried to rehire two of our coders outside of our company name on a personal level to rebuild the same site but on a different platform. So...if the work was so horrible, why would she try to rehire the same two people that built it or have another company use our design and put the puzzle pieces back together but on a different platform. Obviously we believe she was just out for money and thought we were an easy target, she was wrong. We stand by our work and always have, we go the extra mile for our clients and truly care about each of their businesses. Our business grows from our wonderful clients and their referrals, it seems our biggest mistake was working with this one rotten apple over the last decade.
