I am from Ecuador and I went on vacation to florida on September 2010 and I decided to rent a car with Dollar. I prepaid online.

On december 2010 I realized that Dollar rent a car have charged on my credit car almost US$ 1000 for toll violations.

All the "violations" were toll by plates that dollar charges to the customer like a violation and the charges 25 dollar each time you pass a toll by plate.

Be carefull with Dollar rent a car they are not honest.

That's what happens when you don't pay your tolls.  Honestly, did you really expect Dollar to pay these and not bill you?  Dollar had to pay the toll company the toll and a service charge for each violation.  They then incurred more expenses by having to go back and bill you.  Dollar might have eaten the cost if it was one or two violations, but $1000 is pretty excessive.  Learn from your mistake and move on.

Dollar Rent A Car ,Thrifty Car Rental, Hertz Rent a Car. all owned by same company Dollar said my credit car wasn't working, the credit card from Chase that gives me free car rental insurance, so I was stuck paying for their overpriced company provided damage waiver. Dollar Rent A Car Swenson Location LV,NV Was told that she had been with Dollar for 22 years. since you rent regularly YOU should know our policy We were overcharged for the rental to begin with. I was going to bury my brother who had just died unexpectedly from Stage 4 Cancer. Dollar may know know what that does to a person but it is overwhelmingly difficult. No I do not expect for you to care about my situation but the rental per was extremely rude. Also told me about the previously rental that I should know better the previous rental that I do not care what you were told if you want to drop off a car to catch a early flight you should rent from the Airport.
